Hello! I'm Sky, this is my pixel art blog! I've been doing digital art for more than a decade, but very little pixel stuff until this year, 2026! I'm trying to make and post more stuff this year, and this blog is part of that!

If all you want is RPGMaker VX/video game resources, those can be found in a neater format over here. This blog will contain those, as well as WIPs, non game stuff, and low effort doodles.

All of my art will be tagged "#my squares", and it's all distributed under a CC-BY license. You can redistribute and edit my work, but you must credit me, ideally either by linking to my Tumblr or my Neocities. Failing that, naming me as "skystylepixels" is sufficient, or keeping my logo in pieces that contain it.

Feel free to send questions/requests to my askbox, though if you want anything super specific or detailed, you'd be better off commissioning someone. This is just a fun little hobby for me.

Mushroom forest for a fairyland... I've always loved a good mushroom forest

Fly agaric are the obvious go-tos, and had to be my first, but I'm planning on doing a bunch more free standing 'shrooms, plus some shelf fungi for the stumps

A candy drop press, cotton candy machine, taffy puller. Maybe a Hobart if I wanna get really wild

I'm not going all in on a candy FACTORY, but some little tabletop stuff would be cool if I could make it legible

I'm thinking I'll also do waist high open top barrels and bins with stuff in em

The next tileset I've started is a candy store, but I'm considering a pet shop... Baby Sky spent a lot of hours looking at lizards and ferrets in well lit rooms with air circulation that left a lot to be desired, they're very nostalgic for me

A dreamy pink and purple forest cemetery tileset!

It's not anything too elaborate, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

The tileset is on my Neocities, it's formatted for use in RPG Maker VX, but it's free to use in anything!

Graphics I made for my Neocities page! These are kinda placeholdery, I'll make a header with an actual logo/name someday, and this ferret isn't ideal (though he does have a special place in my heart). The perfect is the enemy of the good, though, and I'm trying to finish more stuff in 2026, even if that means posting stuff that isn't Totally Fantastic!

I just found my last attempt at a tileset! It's formatted poorly, and there's a lot of shading weirdness, but I think it's fun. There's a real dearth of sci-fi VX tiles, so I wanted to do something futuristic, and I always love a spaceship with a greenhouse section.

I probably won't be returning to this, there's so much stuff I'd redo that I think I may as well start from scratch, but I might post the tiles :)
