sighs okay, i'm sold. i just started part two of the novel and i can't hold myself any longer — i need a place to vent about my feelings over tct. so, here am i.

just a warning, i'm a boring person who cares a lot about ships and relationships (and a little about the lore) so my posts will be mostly about that. feel free to talk to me anytime but please understand that my focus will be mostly on kim rook soo and krs!cale (and the relationships he has with others). i just love him too much. dunno if it makes any difference, but i am a strictly choicale shipper (for anyone who is curious). i also believe ohn, hong and raon are their kids xD it's my personal and favorite hc. i also may have affectionate feelings for lee soo hyuk — not my fault, he is amazing. oh, and i love hannah/mary as a ship too, the way they got attached to each other after mary saved hannah life's was just so good....

anyway ! don't like anything i like? just block me, please, it will be better like that. anyway, here i come to this fandom o/

Ah those two i can't. I really like how they grew from 'i'm just going to do everything i need to not get beaten to a pulp and after that we will go our separate ways' and 'i am really attached but from some distance' to this kind of connection, where they both care about each other in a more personal level and act more like boyfriends (also this is second time Cale sends Raon to check on Choi Han and to tell him not to overdo)

Cale then gave the children averaging nine-years-old an extra gold coin as allowance before disembarking from the ship.

Cale approached Choi Han who was warmly looking at the excited On and Hong and asked.

‘Unlucky bastard. I have to at least feed him a lot of delicious food.

It looks like he’s lost a lot of weight, so let’s fatten him back up.’

Choi Han had a shocked expression on his face, but Cale who had turned around and was walking with On and Hong in his arms could not see the expression.

This two proud parents and their kids make me want to cry. Also Cale, who lost his weight the most, doting over Choi Han is super cute.

The last few chapters i read gave so many feelings that i forgot to make quotes. The most important: i'm happy that On and Hong are back, missed this two kittens a lot. Also really liked the idea of Raon chatting with them while they were separated, i imagine this is actually a usual thing and they talk like this often, Raon keeping his siblings updated on the news

So at the dinner with Taylor and Kage, Raon is invisible. Choi Han is literally wiping the face of an invisible baby right in front of Taylor and Kage.

what if cale henituse fell asleep on choi han's back while he was being carried. what if choi han tightened his hold just a bit so that cale wouldnt fall and that he could keep resting. what if his heart pounded as he could feel cale's breath tickle his neck, which turned red as he blushed. what if they're soft with each other, huh? what then???

All these posts about Cale-nim I'm seeing are making me think a lot.

Cale-nim never felt like he was a good person. Despite all the good that he did, it never really registered to him that his kindness can truly be seen as kindness.

I think that's why Choi Han likes him, loves him, adores him—idolises him, even.

For someone who had been living in filth in its truest sense, yet still be seen as a "hero" by someone so kind... Maybe that twisted view of kindness that Cale-nim has was what saved Choi Han. It's still saving him now.

To Cale-nim, Choi Han is the protagonist, the hero of the story.

But Cale-nim is Choi Han's hero.

Choi Han really does have that animated puppy filter whenever he notices Cale-nim looking at him.

Which makes me wish for more moments where someone is with Choi Han while he's fighting like a demon devoid of any mercy, thinking about how incredibly terrifying he is, and then they encounter Cale and Choi Han does a complete 180, basically becoming an animated puppy that would be wagging its tail furiously if it had one, with his eyes shining as he calls out to Cale-nim and waits for his praise for a job well done. The people who saw him melt his enemies with his aura ten minutes ago are incredulous at the complete change and are even more incredulous that Cale completely buys into Choi Han's puppy personality as something normal and even expected.
