Today was going to be the day. Jordyn was sick and tired of KJ and Quinn pining after each other but being too stubborn to deal with the fact that they both obviously still had the hotpants for each other. āif I can get a date with a cutie like Justin,ā Jordyn said to herself as she was getting ready for the Valentine's festival, āI can get these two together, God Dammit.ā Then, she paused and began digging around under her bed for the package Auntie Rara had sent her in case of emergencies. ā...Might be easier said than done, so best be prepared!ā
It was a saving grace that both KJ and Quinn had decided to arrive at the festival of their own volition, so getting them in the same place was not really that big of a deal. Getting them to spend time together was going to be more difficult, but that was why she had grabbed extra special supplies for this endeavour.
KJ was the one that she spotted first. Quinn, thankfully, was not too far away, sitting on a nearby bench, fully focused on unlacing his boots so he could switch over to skates. Perfect. āKAY JAY~ā Jordyn trilled, prancing up to his side and wrapping her arms around his arm. āAre you gonna go skating? I want to go skating. Oh, but maybe some coffee first? It might help to keep warm, right? But then again...ā she continued to natter away at him, not releasing his arm and slowly steering him towards where Quinn, who was conveniently hunched over out of sight unless you knew he was there, was sitting. Once they were closer, she made sure to speak more calmly and quietly, as to not alert Quinn of their arrival. āSo, we're friends, right? Even after the drinking buddy fiasco and the locked room hijinks?ā By this point, they were standing near Quinn, who by some small miracle hadn't noticed their presence (or if he did, he wasn't fleeing yet), close enough to strike.
ā...just remember that we're friends, 'kay?ā
She wasn't entirely sure how she managed to pull it off, especially since there was some swearing involved on Quinn's part, but when the dust settled Quinn and KJ were handcuffed together with a pair of military-grade handcuffs.
āHAHAHA! SUCKERS!ā Jordyn yelled, jumping up and punching the air. Grinning, she twirled the lanyard that held the key to the handcuffs around her finger, āenjoy the evening, boys. Come see me in the A.M. and I'll see about unlocking those cuffs~ā Then, she blew them a kiss and took off running like a bat out of hell because she wasn't in the mood to be murdered.
