I just felt the need to share the backside of my current WIP. Cleanest I’ve ever done and none of my friends understand the feels.
I humbly present to you my first ever from-scratch, eyeballed recreation, Raz’s hat from Psychonauts! My inspiration was by BunnieBard over at DeviantArt, but I also wanted my friend to be able to see when she put the goggles down.
When someone posts crochet projects to your timeline, talkin’ bout “You could make this winkwink hurhur”
Nintendo Exchange 2015 My match's favorite characters are Kirby and Rosalina.
Attempting my first eyeball recreation 😓
Arbitrary Exchange 2015: Unicorn with beaded bracelets Pattern for the unicorn can be found here: http://littleyarnfriends.com/post/24411665124/crochet-pattern-lil-baby-unicorn
Pimp hat :) First attempt at beading, but I'm pretty happy with it. I slightly altered a pot leaf pattern that I can't seem to find the source of, but the basic hat pattern is at: http://www.crystalpalaceyarns.biz/usr/www/users/druding/crystalpalaceyarns/patterns/regpatts/regpatts3/cuddles-BrimHat.html
Quick rainy day project. Made Mozz a cunning hat :D
Basic cat beanie pattern is at: http://mysteriouscats.com/hello-welcome-plus-cat-beanie-tutorial/
I hate that I used a smaller hook, but overall it turned out okay. :) The original was meant to be a regular tealight holder but I added the yellow middle for a flameless cover. :)

The Crafter's Struggles: Crochet
1. Many people will tell you that it is (or they thought it was) for "old ladies". Biiiitch, watch what I do with some damn yarn.
2. On the other hand (or sometimes even the same one), people like to tell you about this person they know that works with yarn, and "she is really good at it". This normally happens in public places like the doctor's office or bus. That's great and all, but I'm alright too and your story is in no way helping me finish my project. Speaking of...
3. People like to ask you to make something for them. I have told my family and friends that this is my hobby and that I would love to make them all all of the things but I simply can't. I'm not sure how other crafters handle their "queue" but I myself have a list system, first come first serve. Get on the list and I'll make you something for free eventually. Commissioned orders get priority.
4. I have hundreds of patterns saved on my computer, many more on pinterest, and I have a ravelry account, but people are convinced they must share with me any half-cute thing "just in case".
5. And sometimes those patterns are for what? You guessed it. Knitting.
CROCHET IS NOT KNITTING.
Those people in 1 and 2 will also incorrectly term your work, and you try to hold back the impatience in your voice when you remind them (sometimes for the billionth time) that you crochet. People in 3 and 4 will sometimes bring or pass along knitting patterns.
CROCHET IS NOT KNITTING.
6. You never have enough yarn. Other people will say you totally have more than you need. Those people are wrong.
CROCHET IS NOT KNITTING.
No Pain, Just Gain : Hand Exercises For Crocheters
Source : Fall 2012 issue of Interweave Crochet Magazine
Here are some exercises for knitters and crocheters. They help relieve the pain and numbness that is associated with crafting for long periods of time. They really work! Try them!
For all of my crochet/knit buddies. I’m looking at you, podkins, juststitched, and daretostitch!
Thanks for tagging! This is so important!!!
Animal Crossing Exchange :)
In the event of an apocalypse I will be the person of the group tasked with looting the yarn aisle and keeping everyone warm.
Sandra Gramm, herbarium, Berlin 2014
A series of still lifes I did using jewelry as flowers. I built herbariums with different pieces of Sophia Zarindasts upcoming capsule collection. This is a sneak peek of the collection, more coming soon.
Really not gonna lie here, but before I read the description I assumed this was pen cap jewelry and I thought I should give it a try.
