I cannot stop thinking about the ending song of the Chainsaw Man film. As soon as I read about the song's title, Jane Doe, I knew it was gonna wreck me. But hearing it as the credits rolled, after that final scene in the alley, it just... my friend put it best as "that's kind of devastating."

#i could be reading into the lyrics too much but the chorus really feels like an allusion to both the little mermaid and cinderella #both stories... I don't want to return from where I came from. and I dont want to be without your love. but its too late.#ill vanish and die as simply another victim.#even if the trail of blood i leave ends at my corpse i hold onto the wish that you would see my pain and find me

#i've been waiting for those tickets to go on sale for too long.

I usually try to avoid posting about my personal life online, but man, it's been an intense couple of days. I keep bouncing between thinking how awful everything is for this person, and how incredibly fortunate we are to have narrowly escaped the worst. I have to believe that despite the terrible situation, there's enough strength to push through recovery and live happily, even if some things need to change.

I feel like I'm doing fine, but I also feel the need to shake everyone I see by the shoulders to tell them someone so close to me almost died. Thank you to the stranger who called 911, to the doctor who worked so hard for so many hours, and to the well-earned health that can carry you forward.

I payed 10 bucks for a D&D session, but that transaction counted towards store credit, so not only do I get to play D&D, I also get $10 worth of snacks and/or store merchandise. And the snacks are good!!! Genuinely amazing in this economy.

#also you can hold onto the credit so if you played there for 12 weeks youd have $120 worth of store credit.#i could buy 24 bags of fried crab flavored lays chips. thatd give me 48 servings of chips. big win.#hmmm i could also buy more dnd books. or gifts for people. aggggh i'll have to play there again some time.#ive got this going for me and im playing more dnd this week and im meeting friends over the weekend. plus i can probably watch more fringe.#i will endure this week.#ive been going through a lot lately so im glad to have a few more things to look forward to.

Olive and the Bishops would be a great band name.

#fringe #i havent even finished the 1st season but this show has gripped me. truly a bright spot to my days.#dunham and the bishops would also work. i cant decide which i like more.
