Hey guys, my name is Vince and these are some of my drawings. I am a mostly self-taught artist in my twenties, and I also happen to be a pre-everything trans guy. Right now doing art commissions like these is my only source of income, as I need to wait to get a ‘real job’ until I can afford to at least change my legal name, and hopefully start hormone therapy as well. Of course this, in combination with a few other unfortunate factors, means my household is also struggling for money day-to-day for food, rent, and etc., let alone paying for a name change and hormones for me to be comfortable leaving the house. While that’s shitty for us, I’m sure you’re probably sitting here nodding along because we all know the anxiety/finance struggle way more than I’m sure any of us are comfortable with.
That being said, I want to get the word out that I’d like to sell prints of my work to try to get myself out of this hole, and I’m putting this post out here to see how many people would be interested in buying them if I made them available somewhere. Please reblog/respond if you would be willing/able to buy some of my prints when the time comes, or if (like me) you can’t afford them but would want to purchase them if you had the means to. Also, if you have any advice for a first-timer in terms of printing my stuff, please let me know your experiences with this, like things to avoid, etc.
These are just some of the design previews I have, and I have many more that I’m very fond of as well. Obviously the final ones wouldn’t have the watermark, and the smudges/etc would be fixed up accordingly, unless that’s part of the design, like the x-ray one.
