Her boss didnât tend to like his girls making âhouse callsâ as he called them, and only made an exception for VIP clients. Loyal ones, who didnât skimp on the bill, it also probably didnât hurt that Saul Goodman happened to be her bosses lawyer as well. Not that Kim Nu Suong was complaining, she liked Saul. She found him funny, plus he tipped a lot better then some other guys didâ something her boss didnât seem to take into account when he was deciding if a client âskimped on the billâ or not.
Besides, he knew a few things in Vietnamese which was much better than having a client who made fun of her accent she hadnât been able to fully get rid of in the six years of living in the states, or assumed she was stupid because she wasnât completely fluent in English.
Some men could be real assholes, and it was something she was expected to just accept or not get paid.
In fact this was mostly the reason she had gotten into it with her boss, but despite that Suong was in high spirits as she walked across the parking lot to Saulâs office with a large white leather bag that matched neatly with her track suit hitched over her shoulder. It wasnât often she got to spend time with someone whoâs company she actually enjoyed, so sheâd savor it when she could. Suong walked into the waiting room, locking the front door behind her, and smiled widely when Saul greeted her at his office door.
âHello, Mr. Goodman,â She said brightly and headed into his office glancing at the massage table he had set up. Suong still couldnât believe he kept one of those in his office, it seemed silly to her, but if the other option was her lugging a giant table that was about the same size as her around sheâd take him keeping one here any day.
Kim Nu Suong moved to set her bag down on the couch, before turning back to Saul looking up at him, âI hope you have not had too much of a rough day today, though Iâm sure this whole saving people from jail, and getting them their just dues can be so stressful,â she said in a lightly teasing tone, before perking up a little. âOh! I saw your new commercial last night. I wanted to tell you it was very good. The best one yet.â She wasnât even lying (that much), sure his commercials were corny, but you couldnât imagine the ads they had back where she was from. His were much better.
He could practically feel the stress falling off the moment he laid eyes on her beautiful face, it didnât take much to please the olâ lawyer and she did a good job of doing it by presence alone. This is why he kept calling, requesting  her, she knew just how to make him melt without even trying, He cleared his throat, still messing with his tie some as he walked her into his office, again holding the door open for her to pass through.
âNow Kim, you know you can call me Saul.â Hands closed for a second before opening them in the direction of her bag, âMay I?â He asked, taking it from her and placed it on the hook next to his door. That is where he kept his extra suit jackets, just in case a drunk stumbled in and left more than a crappy payment. Two of the three hooks were open, having dropped off the other jackets a week or two ago. He cursed as he remembered that he needed to pick them up, man he really needed an assistant.Â
He shook his head, tired eyes trying their best to match his smile, but it didnât get quite there. Saul Goodman was tired, but he tuckered on, happy with the way things now were. His face practically lit up at the mention of his commercial, lips pursed into a lopsided smile as he played the commercial in his mind. It was one of the best ones heâd done in a while, the guys he hired at done an excellent job at editing it and of course they did with the amount of money he paid them to put it together. âThank you, got about ten more clients with that commercial, hoping for more. Itâs hard to keep up, I really need help around here.â
Saul pointed at the massaging table, thinking carefully about what he was about to say. âNow this is what I was thinking and please slap me if youâd like, but Iâd like to turn the tables and massage you...â He trailed off, swallowing nervously at is request, âIâll pay extra.â
