one of my favorite characters in the entire series, while also being an example of something I despise about warriors: determinism!

i feel awful when i see people debate the morality of his actions in later books (later books chronologically, not release order). even the wiki describes him as “getting lazier” near the ending of bluestar’s prophecy, which i think is a tad unfair considering he’s being tormented by starclan lmao

I like to think that Featherwhisker was aware of the curse, and it spurred on slight resentment towards StarClan. he feels it when he sees his mentor’s lucidity, when Goosefeather cracks a joke or chides him about keeping the stores clean. he could never feel true resentment towards his mentor, only towards those who caused this.

also why didn’t he talk to Shadowsight like at all wtf missed opportunity
