I'm just going to say this, since little else needs to be said about the Newtown Shooting (as well as all the other shootings that have happened recently): The United States needs enormously improved mental health care. It needs to be publicly funded, readily available to anyone and everyone who needs it or wants it, and American culture, the stigma we place on the act of seeking or receiving mental health treatment needs to vanish, fast. Gun control alone will not fix anything, and neither will loosening gun control. If you don't think a kid who shot and killed his mom and then headed to a school to kill teachers and children is mentally unstable and needed help, then I have to question your mental stability.
