ZICKI ZINAJ COULD BE R E A L
Let's see.......
Nicki Minaj, born into poverty in Trinidad with a crack addicted father who worked her ass off pretty much by her damn self to become successful in the most male dominated music genre tries to start a conversation about racism in the music industry. Miley Cyrus, white child from Tennessee, who became famous from a Disney show her rich father got for her and then re-launched her career by sticking a foam finger up her vagina tries to tell Nicki how she should and should not address racism.
The tea is too damn hot.
Read this, learn this, and remember this when they call Nicki an angry bitch tomorrow.
the vegan agenda: eat vegetables, pet cats, act irritable at family gatherings
Okay we can all have a good laugh and cheer at what went down tonight but in all seriousness what she was doing was calling out a white woman on her horribly patronizing, racist behavior. A white woman tried to silence and belittle a Black woman’s pain because she didn’t like how it was presented and proceeded to dismiss it because she was too angry. Miley condescended to her, telling a black woman how best to deal with something that she as a white woman will never have to deal with. And Nicki clapped back. On national television. In front of a live audience, in front of the world, on air.
If you think the media and its industries aren’t going to punish her for it then I need you to pay real close attention to her the next coming months, because you can bet she won’t have as many appearances or invitations, you can bet she will get even less recognition and even more criticism, you can bet most mentions of her will associate her with the Angry Black Woman stereotype without ever addressing why she was angry or recognizing that her anger was justified. They are going to make Nicki out to be the ultimate bad guy when the reality is she was defending herself-and by proxy, Black women in entertainer everywhere-against some serious displays of ignorance and racism. But you watch. Watch what’s going to happen to Nicki after this.
The clap back was hilarious, yes, but there is a reason Black people are celebrating it; because Nicki showed some serious courage. Black people, Black women especially, are expected to shoulder any and all abuse silently. She refused. At the end of the day, to these people, she is just a Black woman who is supposed to shut up and take whatever bullshit gets thrown at her. She isn’t supposed to defend herself, especially not if it means hurting white women’s feelings. Protect Nicki Minaj at all fucking costs. Support her at all costs, because she’s going to come under serious fire.
Miley Cyrus used the racist term “mammy” at the VMAs
The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards have thus far been full of especially racially-loaded, tense moments. But perhaps the most offensive moment came when host Miley Cyrus called Snoop Dog her “real mammy” on stage.
As sex workers, we know first-hand that poverty is a huge factor in why people sell sex. However, we cannot understand why criminalising the income source of people who sell sex is presented as a ‘solution’ to the economic coercion of poverty. If campaigners are concerned that poverty takes away people’s choices, we suggest that a real solution would be to tackle poverty, not to criminalise what is often the final option that people have for surviving poverty.

Oxford English Dictionary Adds 15 new Transgender and Nonbinary Terms to its Online Dictionary!
Oxford Dictionary has just added a slew of important trans and nonbinary terminology to its online dictionary, OxfordDictionaries.com. The following terms are now officially defined in US English:
Agender, Bi-gender, Cisgender, Cissexism, FTM, Gender Dysphoria, Gender Identity, Gender-fluid, Genderqueer, Misgender, MTF, Mx, Nonbinary, Transman, Transperson, Transphobia, and Transwoman!
Life Outside The Binary does not necessarily endorse the particular definitions nor the wording therein. Many of these definitions may be overly simplistic or use outdated terminology. It is certainly more important to understand each individual’s understanding and relationship to a given term, and to understand their history and social context, rather than to differ to a broad general definition. There are also many other important words (such as transmisogyny, binarism and other identities such as neutrois and androgyne) that definitely deserve inclusion in dictionaries.
However, this is still a huge win for transgender and non-binary people! Especially words such as “cissexism,” “transphobia,” and “misgender,” (as well as several common transgender identities) being defined in a reputable online language resource may represent a huge step toward developing common understanding and acceptance of trans and nonbinary people and issues.
