immediately started seeing these kind of takes on twitter and I know they will reach here and you have to understand this isn't happening because the US is the country of cartoon villains who does things because it's evil. It's imperialism. The US has an empire and it wants to keep it and extend it. When it does not use diplomatic and political means it uses financial and economic control, when that does not work it tries to use intelligence operations and when that does not work it uses military action. Venezuela has gone and suffered through all the stages of this and now it's being struck with direct military action.
And again, the reason why the US does all this is not because "thirst for blood and chaos", it's because it's an empire. It wants the natural resources of Venezuela. It wants to keep its imperial dominion over Latin America, it wants to erase potential rivals on the region and keep it under their control. They have said it so. Explicitly.
Stop thinking things happen because of craaaazy guys like Trump or just because the US is "cursed" or whatever the fuck. These things have reasons behind them. Learn that the US is an empire, that it has economic and political interests behind the actions they do, that Latin America and the rest of the global south, and also the US people themselves, have to resist and challenge this empire, and that the only way for this empire to end will be the dismantling and destruction of the US capitalist oligarchy and the triumph of socialism and anti-imperialism.
Eyad (#24 on gazavetters' list (link) and has also been vetted by @/nabulsi (link)) has 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Up until know i've only mentioned Khaled and Jihad
Today i will talk about one of his sisters' family.
Dina and her husband, Mohammed, have 3 young children. Dina had another baby on the way. Dina already had a condition called preeclampsia and then the genocide made it so that the baby born prematurely earlier this year died. This was yet another tragedy that she and her family had to endure.
Mohammed and their thirteen year old son were captured by the IOF. They were subjected to a month of physical and psychologial torture, which, after their release, have left them severely traumatised.
One of their sons, as many other people in Gaza, has developed hepatitis due to the lack of food and clean water.
Through all this, Dina's family is still facing genocide. Their security depends on your donations! Winter is coming and they only have a tent to take shelter in. There's no food or clean water. They desperately need access to medicine which is already very expensive and barely affordable.
Their fundraiser has been set up in June 12th, 2024. So far they have raised €2,498 out of the €60K goal. There's only been one donation in the past 7 DAYS. PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO DONATE
While we're at it, stop conflating AMAB & AFAB with "physically male" & "physically female". These acronyms refer to something purely social, AGAB is an event! Not a body type!
i understand the point of this post, but i think until we have better language for it, defining people who were born with vaginas as 'AFAB' and people who were born with penises as 'AMAB' is useful for medical purposes. if a medical condition affects me differently because of what genitalia i have, its important to know what to expect. like yeah it sucks and i hate it too but we dont rly have a better way of doing it yet

I'm Lama, I live in a tent after being displaced 3 times, this tent doesn't protect us from the cold of winter and we need winter clothes for us, our children and the elderly, everything in the market is expensive and we cannot afford to buy it, with the closure of the crossings.💔😭
There is also no food in the market or flour, we are on the verge of famine in the south unfortunately and no one is moving for us and everything is 20 times its price, such as milk, diapers, food, flour and clothes, we cannot afford to provide any of these supplies for us and our children, help us and donate to us, you are our last hope and lifeline for us. 💔💔😞
‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
I suffer from severe eczema, which increases with the winter, and I need medicine and treatment. Please help me receive treatment. I need medicine because I am in severe pain and I can not sleep.😭😔🙏

Here is a picture of my friend Fidaa’s baby girl, Sila. Sila and her baby brother Muhammed are currently stuck in a situation so horrible that words struggle to describe it.
Fidaa, (@fidaa-family2) the mother of these beautiful children, is a 29-year-old woman from Gaza who, during the war, was separated from her entire family and is currently being forced to take care of her two children, completely alone.
Her children are both sick from the cold and the encroaching spread of diseases, and they are all in pain. She has been displaced with her children many, many times, each time having to dip into her precious evacuation funds to buy transportation.
Every time she is displaced, she is forced to buy a new tent, which as we know costs $1,500…
This makes her evacuation funds absolutely instrumental for her and her two small children’s survival, two children who I will now remind you are sick, hurting, and starving in a situation that nobody could have ever predicted.
These conditions are absolutely catastrophic. They are apocalyptic. No child, no mother, no person should ever have to go through this.
You can help.
You can help by donating and sharing so that Fidaa is not forced to struggle any longer. All she hopes for is to get enough money to evacuate to Cairo so that she no longer is forced to rely on the black market for things as simple as food.
Please, take time out of your day to donate to Fidaa. Her campaign is going extremely slowly, and needs your help.
Please help Fidaa and her children out of this hell. They, like all human beings, deserve safety, comfort, and warmth, and you now have a way to help provide these things to them.
Fidaa has been verified here and here.

PayPal has fired employees after they have sent a letter to management about Zionists groupchats!
As you may know, the crowdfunding platform has shut down fundraising services on October 7th, a year into the accelerated genocide. No one can create a fundraiser for themselves, and those who have an existing one have to finish raising funds before January 12th, 2025.
Now, a former employee has stepped forward and revealed the fact that they have been terminated on Twitter. They have also shed light on the fundraising situation that are made for Palestinians.
They are frozen or defunded on purpose. This has always been in the known, but now we have confirmation.
Zionists are mass reporting them as "terrorism" in group chats on Slack.
They celebrate the bombardment in these conversations.
They also want to remove Palestinian related causes from Benevity, a donating matching program from the company.
Knowing this information, a letter has been sent to management, but of course, they have been fired.
Iyad Sohbe (@iyadsohbegaza) and Ruba Abushaban (@rubashsblog) are my friends from Ghazzah who are raising funds with PayPal after GFM deletes their fundraiser or suspends their account. Iyad has lost 11K while Ruba loses access to 27K!
We have LESS THAN 3 MONTHS help them raise the amount - 60K - but donations would either trickle in little by little, or stop completely. We can't afford to do that. We need to raise $600 USD per DAY, but we are getting less than $100 USD!
So I don't understand why people are failing to see the urgency or why they are waiting for someone to do it in their stead. Especially when you can give a DOLLAR. It is more than enough. So please donate and share. We are running out of time, and we are at risk at deletion once again! ! !
Rememebr: this is all for Iyad and Ruba and their families. Iyad is diabetic, needs medication, and he has 5 young children aged 5, 7, 10, 13, and 14. Ruba sustains a stomach injury from a displacement and has been hospitalized. They are in Nuseirat, an area that is prone to IOF's increased violence!
You can match me! I've given $10 USD! You can also participate in an art raffle hosted by @/heliopixels if you show your proof of donation and are a fan of Transformer! You can also partake in other art and writing commissions if you click on 'Keep Reading'!
Verification: #90 for Ruba and #173 for Iyad in the Spreadsheet. (Keep in mind that the document has not been updated and does not reflect the current fundraiser. You can learn about it here.)

Israel's seige on Northern Gaza is now engulfing Central Gaza as well. Both Iyad and Ruba's families are there.
Iyad's phone got broken in the process of fleeing and Ruba doesn't have access to good Internet so I haven't been able to contact them for several days. The only reason I even know they're alive is because I'm also in contact with their middlewoman for paypal, Eman.
They keep having to go through this every. Few. Days. Every few days a new catastrophe happens and they're displaced again. At least help take some of the strain off them by donating so they can buy basic supplies. Please.
Most of us will never know the agony of being a parent that does everything to provide for their child, only to keep coming up empty. Of the immense suffering and self-loathing that comes with being responsible for this little life, and feeling like you're failing: to keep them safe, warm, sheltered, fed. Of holding your child, your toddler, your newborn, watching them slowly waste away from that relentless, gnawing hunger you can't stop (one that you feel yourself). Watching as they howl in pain, and the hollowness that comes when your child becomes too weak even to do that. All the while being totally helpless to stop it because it's not up to you.
Most of us will only see the aftermath of such a thing: a parent carrying the far-too-light shroud of their child, pictured under a headline that details how starvation has taken hold of some given population. Distant and removed from us.
Except that it isn't. There are so many desperate parents who've run out of options, for whom this isn't some abstraction, who are asking—begging—us for our help. Just so they'll be able to buy some of the shit canned food left from the last aid delivery, and a couple loaves of bread to feed their children with. Extortionately pricey because of scarcity, but it's enough to keep their children in a state of "acute malnutrition" rather than "catastrophic hunger", so they'll pay anything for it.
Attacks on NGOs & prevention of aid into Gaza puts every single person there at risk of a slow death due to starvation. Especially children, like Samah's newborn baby boy, her little 2 year-old girl, and their big sister (who's only 9). But we can help. What's pocket money for us, is an invaluable lifeline to parents like Samah. At a time when so many seem to have decided to live in an alternate universe in which deliberate starvation and mass slaughter of civilians is acceptable, we have to do what we can to oppose it. Not to push it away, to ignore it, to decide it's been going on so long we don't care or that it's hopeless so give up, but to grit our teeth, dig our heels in, and say "no, seriously, what the fuck are we doing here?"
tldr: donate to Samah so she can buy food for her kids so they don't starve to death. please. and thank you. :)

I'm writing a new post because old ones don't get reblogged as much - as if the need for donations goes away the moment post is 4 days old. And even if they do get reblogs, they don't translate to donations.
So. This is a new post for Falastin even though nothing changed. There's literally nothing new to tell, all the horrors are still the same as they were a week or a month ago and they still could die any moment. But saying everything once again:
24 family members
displaced more than 50 times
family has many martyrs, last one less than a month ago
need funds for daily essentials (food, water, medicine) and tent materials + clothing for the winter
have raffle for hand-made Palestinian thobe (!! link !!) - 6 days left as of posting this
There have been 9 donations in the last 24 hours, and 3 the 24 hours before. 125 and 17 usd raised respectively. THAT'S 3 USD PER PERSON FOR ONE DAY. The donations usually come up only when there's another martyr or another displacement so please make a pleasant surprise for Falastin's family (they haven't got one in more than a year) and donate if you can.

what do you think is fair to expect of a 17yo whose parent is having major surgery?
nothing cuz they're probably stressed out and worried about their parent!
more help with cooking/cleaning/babysitting than usual
driving their parent to/from hospital
helping their parent get around afterwards if they need help
making sure their parent has the meds or wound cleaning products they need
trying to convince strangers online to care enough to help their family survive
Voting ended onNov 9, 2024
How much do you think should be expected of a 17yo when his dad has major surgery?
Personally, I think it's reasonable to expect a teenager to take on more of the housework or babysitting, or things like that. I think it's good to have some way you can help when you're worried about someone you love.
But when a teenager has the weight on his shoulders of trying to make sure his family survives, that's a hard thing. I wish no teenager had to carry that burden.
Nader has been carrying that burden for awhile. He's a friendly, earnest kid and he's extremely determined to help take care of his family. Today he's stressing about his dad's surgery on November 11th and how they'll cover costs for that while still taking care of his little siblings in winter in a war zone.
Will you join me in taking care of this family?
My income is below minimum wage, so today I could only help with €5, but I know every little bit adds up!!
Be honest with yourself. Can you share €5 too? Maybe skip some treat in order to be the kind of person you want to be? Reblog with a receipt to show you helped!! (I put mine under the readmore)
You can rest assured that this campaign is legit!
It was verified by GazaVetters (#4), and I've also been seeing multiple videos circulating of Nader showing us what it's like on the ground in Gaza, with Tumblr blogs he's been in contact with held up on his phone. He looks exactly as he does in the fundraiser photos.
Please join me in sending tangible solidarity to this family, or at least share their gfm and consider setting a phone alarm for next time you get paid so you remember to contribute then.
Let's work together to live our values and take care of the vulnerable! 🤍🤍🤍

While heaters are obviously the most practical option, to me nothing is as comforting as a hearty soup (my favourite is pumpkin!)
In Gaza, Mohammed @famousturtlebanana and his family do not have that choice. In the heart of winter, surrounded by rain and cold, Mohammed and his children live under a tent that provides no warmth and cannot keep out the pouring rain. The Alanqar family, Mohammed, his wife and 4 children, are suffering in the freezing rain, and your donation can help provide food, clothing, blankets, etc etc etc!
With your voice and support, you can make a difference in the lives of families in Gaza. Learn more about the campaign and how you can by following this link to his campaign.

First of all, this is the city of Hebron. A city in the occupied West Bank. The fact that there are IOF terrorists here imposing laws on Palestinian territory is in itself not only an apartheid, but an occupation. The area here is to the Tomb of the Patriarchs/the Sanctuary of Abraham and the pathway is partitioned under the IOF's jurisdiction. They don't have that right.
Second, the map below shows several checkpoints in different sections of the city and roads that are off-limited to Palestinians, this is apartheid.
Third, the segregation points are there because of the increasing enroaching Israeli settlements in Hebron and the city center, all of which are also illegal under international law.
Here is the city map provided by Btselem and you tell me this isn't an apartheid

Eslam is a teacher and a young mother of 2; Hanaa (age 5) and Ana (age 1). Since last year, she and her family have been fighting to survive the siege on Ghazzah.
She and her family lost their home to the bombings, displacing them all to a tent. The unhygienic conditions have caused both of Eslam's children to develop skin diseases.
Medicine and soup are extremely expensive in Ghazzah, $30 a bar; since Eslam's husband Rasmi had his place of work bombed, these prices are are completely unsustainable.
