The pristine City of Baguio, their cold weather and wondrous sights. No wonder this place is so crowded even after midnight!
Baguio is the summer capital of the philippines, because of itās geographical location the placeās weather can get quite cold. (which is unlikely common for a tropical country like PH.) This place is am packed by tourist all over the world! Believe it or not this place does not even sleep!
Last October 20-21, 2017, we have ventured to Baguio City, Philippines for a short vacation. (me, my boyfriend and his workmates). After 5 hours of traveling by car, weāve reached our destination! But being too tired to move did not help (LOL). We rented a small transcient room where thereās 3 bedrooms inside, each with doubledeck beds, and mind you that do not have fans nor airconditioning.. because who the hell would want the place to get even more freezing.
(Benguet is closer than you think in baguio.)
I even got one of their famous freshly picked strawberries, strawberry ice cream and homemade jam.
(you will have to climb up to see the chapel and statue. Oh boy! That was one high staircase!)
The Diplomat Hotel. (creepy hotel with a brutal hstory)
This hotel was home for the nuns and priests where they were said to kill children. The hotel was bombed by the Japanese Soldiers in the late World War II, all that remains here are the ruines/oundation of the building.. (although you can see that the place was clearly renovated for people to stil visit.)
The fountain where they said to have killed the children.
Next is the famous Camp John Hay.
(the scenery was lovely! Even got to shoot a few sweet pictures!)
And hereās me, just... being the usual me.
After that we went to The Mansion.
(This is where the President stays when he is here in Baguio)
Then we crossed the other side of the road to Wright Park.
I got to ride in a unicorn f horse!!!!!!!Ā pony!
Ā Then went to the woods to search for wolves. (in my dreams)
Mines View Park is always on the list.
The last place we went through is Burnham Park. We tried to ride the cute little boats in the man made lake in the middle of the park.
Baguio is indeed a beauty, with itās tourist spots and historical places I think itās worth the long ride.
With 15 pax we only got to pay 1,050/person that includes:
-Van (inclusive of toll and parking fee, trip from coastal to baguio - baguio to coastal)
-Transcient house (3 bedrooms inside with 1 doubledecker beds each)
-Day to Night Tour (our driver was also our tour guide)
Mind you that our trip lasted from Friday night to Sunday evening. So thatās 2 days and 3 nights! The trip wasnāt price hefty.Ā
If you guys have the opportunity to travel, cease it. You deserve to relax for once in a while!
