Itch.

An itch I can't reach. Irritating my conscious brain. Excavating my inner ear lobe I just cannot worm through the soil. Brains have too many folds that you just can't uncover. Inching in isn't the solution. Excavate the brain to find what's under. Archeologists will dig for understanding; finding bones of precious loved ones. Fossilized hopes of things that can't be remembered. Shoveling deep maybe things will settle. Decomposed memories at each layer. Deeper and darker with every step forward. At the minds core I still can't find the answer. An itch I can't reach; it's just a constant reminder.
