Wu Xie in Wushanju! I love Wu Xie’s character so much - his curiosity and wit, his kindness and determination to see the good in everyone, his loyalty to his friends (Iron Triangle yay!) Reboot Wu Xie was amazing (as are all the other DMBJ adaptations), but I have to say I’m getting really attached to Ultimate Note Wu Xie too! It is so nice to see him be his nerdy self and just get lost in researching something or figuring out a new puzzle ^^

i apologize in advance for the person i have recently become and i will definitely not post any spoilers HOWEVER i am already incapable of not showing you zhang haiyan dutifully checking in with zhang haixia: "how bad can i hurt him?" "idk babe i really just want to finish my coffee" "ugh okay fine" i cannot believe i EVER doubted xincheng's ability to look hot while flipping a razor blade around in his mouth

i'm not even sure whose tags these are but the short answer is yes. here is how the novel describes it, which also makes me laugh every time because of zhang haiyan's justification for coming up with this uniquely bizarre ability: it was purely logical! his face is ALREADY pointed in that direction! anyone rational would have also thought of this method!

(also hilarious: every chat i'm in right now is like: does he. are they. does he still keep them there even when he's… 👀 you know 👀 …??? to which i can only say WELL OBVIOUSLY. danger could strike at any time!!!)
