Cusps
A commonly misunderstood term. Many believe a cusp means being two signs or having influences of two different signs affecting the same planet. Which forces everyone to say, “No, cusps are not real”. But they are, just the commonly known definition is not. A cusp is merely the transition between two signs. (Note: cusps are generally only 2 degrees after or before 0 - meaning the cusp degrees are approx. 28.00 to 2.00, give or take a little).
No one is two signs within the same planet but being born at an early degree or very late degree creates confusion and chaos. Being born at a late degree is often similar to feeling of “moving out of home” and being born at an early degree is similar to “moving into a new home”. Both create a feeling of being lost and nervous. All cusp signs have this in common. A constant searching for where they belong and who they truly are.
Therefore, being a Cancer-Leo cusp doesn’t mean you have the emotions of a Cancer but the confidence of a Leo. It means your emotions are volatile and blocked because the transition from an emotional water sign to a self-absorbed fire sign causes turmoil in this area.
It does not change your Sun sign. You are still your Sun sign. You Sun sign just isn’t the only part of your chart.
