Also briefly seen are comedian Phyllis Diller (in costume as Dr. Ruth Westheimer) and the show's bandleader Doc Severinsen. Fun Fact: Paul and Cassandra (along with John Paragon, best remembered as Jambi the genie on Pee-wee's Playhouse) were best friends and frequent collaborators for decades in real life.
