Paul Reubens as Pee-wee Herman and Cassandra Peterson as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark during their guest appearance on The Tonight Show with guest host Joan Rivers, originally broadcast by NBC on October 31st, 1985. Also briefly seen are comedian Phyllis Diller (in costume as Dr. Ruth Westheimer) and the show's bandleader Doc Severinsen. Fun Fact: Paul and Cassandra (along with John Paragon, best remembered as Jambi the genie on Pee-wee's Playhouse) were best friends and frequent collaborators for decades in real life.

The Missing Identity of The Lady of the Dunes Buzzfeed Unsolved: True Crime S6 • E2 “This week on Buzzfeed Unsolved, we sift through the case of The Lady of the Dunes: a murder mystery from Cape Cod with theories that stretch from the Boston Mafia to Hollywood.”
Optimistic nihilism is realizing that you are less than a speck of dust in the grand scheme of the universe; that you will die and will be forgotten; that your existence is but a short and desperate cry into the unforgiving universe, so: might as well enjoy the ride while it lasts.
Be kind, have fun, laugh a lot, pet dogs, do the things that you enjoy and help other people be happy. We all die alone in the end; make your existence as pleasant as possible!!!
This makes me laugh
