25 year old system posting about being alterhuman / kin, and about our F/Os / selfshipping. Everything on this blog is in relation to our alterhumanity in some way. More info under cut.
Also note: theme may change randomly, hopefully the URL and tags will stay the same though.
♡ We go by Chaos, Chaoz, and Sonic!
♡ Pronouns: it / star / xe / angel / cosmic / lyr
♡ Collectively genderfluid and aroace
♡ We are a nonhuman / fictive heavy traumagenic system, however we may not sign-off who's posting most of the time, for headmates' comfort. Just know that our plurality does affect our experiences.
♡ When we talk about F/Os it'll either be self x canon or canon x canon (whether due to kins or fictives). Some of these are also affected by in-sys relationships, so certain posts we make may be targeted to headmates of ours. F/Os can range from romantic to platonic and familial, it may depend on the alter.
BYI (terms are censored to avoid showing up on searches):
♡ We block people that make us uncomfortable + falls under the usual criteria.
♡ We're uncomfortable with minors following us, especially since we talk about our selfships, so we're VERY likely to block you if you're a minor. Along with that don't DM us if you're a minor! Just generally this ain't a blog for y'all.
♡ That being said we tag TWs when we can - however we may leave stuff like food and animals (bugs, mice, snakes, etc) untagged.
♡ Keep sys/course off of this blog pls, it stresses us out. Just don't try to start arguments on this blog in general.
♡ We block pr0sh!ppers + whatever other terms they use, and r@dqueers. This isn't up for discussion.
♡ We aren't here to kin date or search for "our" canonmates - if you kin / sourced from a F/O you're free to interact but PLS be aware that our F/O posting isn't directed to you. If you're uncomfortable that we have F/Os of your kins, pls just leave us be then and block us if you have to.
♡ That being said, sourcemates and source twins are free to interact with us! And as of right now I don't think we mind sharing F/Os? Just be respectful to us, double or sharer.

I guess I get to keep posting about this. We know the origin of the term “kinnie”, and it was never based on any slurs. I have a firsthand source on the matter, because my partner is partially responsible for the term getting out there in the first place.
Let me explain.
Those of you who have been in the Tumblr otherkin community for at least a few years will likely remember the blog only-on-tomblr. For those who weren’t there, it was a notorious antikin blog (probably the most visible of them), though it finally shut down this year. The evidence we have regarding the spread of the term “kinnie” does trace back to it being popularized by only-on-tomblr, who used it as a way of infantilizing otherkin. That blog is not the origin of the term, however.
The admin of only-on-tomblr also ran an accompanying Discord server, and somewhere around 2017, my partner (who is serious otherkin) and a few of their ‘kin friends decided to join said Discord server, partially to troll, partially to try educating them about what “otherkin” actually is. (Said attempts at educating never stuck, but that’s not surprising.) That friend group referred to each other as “kinnies” as a bit of an in-joke, one of those “we’re (affectionately) poking fun at ourselves among friends” kinds of things. At some point, the term wound up getting said by someone in that group in only-on-tomblr’s Discord server, and it was then picked up by only-on-tomblr in the form we saw it used on the blog. From there it spread through antikin circles, and seems to have cycled around to the KFF community.
So while the common use of “kinnie” has been at least somewhat derogatory towards otherkin, it has absolutely no basis in any kind of slurs, and I’m getting pretty tired of seeing that claim still going around. It started as a friendly in-joke among a small group of friends (who, again, are all serious otherkin), and then get picked up and turned against the community by people who take issue with our existence.
Because of the term’s connections to antikin, and the way the term has been used against the otherkin community, it’s entirely understandable to dislike the term and prefer to not see it used. But, again, it’s not related to any kind of slurs. Can we please stop spreading that bit of misinformation already?
being psychological otherkin is so stupid because why did being slightly rejected by my peers and having a special interest as a kid made my brain decide to be a dragon about it
feeling a little bad for having a certain F/O, and noticing how it's affected other alters + finally working on that F/O list is making me. overthink things. bleh.
cosmo has always been lowkey a queerplatonic F/O for us, we've been figuring that out for a while and i'm just now recognizing what it is, but. due to stuff that's happened to us personally, and how the fandom treats our """ship""", it's make me so aggressive towards the idea, all around. it especially doesn't help being a sprout kin. i have fond memories of cosmo, but then current day i just feel so angry and sad about it all. i don't want our friendship to be tainted - both by what happened and also just general fandom bullshit.
even other headmates have been feeling it too, some have mixed memories regarding cosmo so it's just all a confusing mess now. idk how to fix it, really. i miss him, but even reminders of him are changed to show a fucked up perception of him.
maybe after i go outside i'll feel differently but, just needed to air out those feelings. shit sucks man.
hello! :3 could u maybe do a shark, raccoon, sun bear, or black cat stim board?? (or a random one of your choice if all are taken) (no pressure tho) thank u!
