“Um… Guys? What’s going on…?” You asked, your red eyes glancing across the dimly lit living room of the Ayase house. Momo sat you down, and sat across from you along with the rest of the gang. Your now purple 𝓸𝓻𝓫𝓼 (they change color because you have magic color changing eyes) scanned the familiar faces in front of you—Momo, Okarun, Jiji, Aira, and even Vamola (kinta was not invited) with a shadow over each of their faces, a hint of guilt in their eyes.
“Y/N… listen. You know it’s been tough finding funds recently for the damages we’ve had fighting aliens…” Momo began. You noticed Okarun shifting in his seat and avoiding your gaze as she spoke, and the way Jiji tapped his fingers against the couch nervously. The anticipation was killing you, the silence sharp enough to slice a cake.
“We had to come to a decision…” she continued, cautiously.
“Please don’t be mad… Please don’t hate us!!” Okarun interjected with a quivering voice. Aira, too, had been averting her gaze but seemed to get impatient.
“We’re selling you.” She said, finally.
……
“WHAT??”
“Y/N, please calm down! It’s the only way we can survive anymore!” Jiji said. Your 𝓸𝓻𝓫𝓼 began to glow red with anger, then became a shade of deep blue with sadness and betrayal.
“You see… all our wallets are empty… and you’re just... the most valuable thing we could think of!” he continued. Momo showed off her empty wallet, dumping out the only contents which were a button and a dead bug as evidence.
“Awww really guys… well that’s just so sweet” your eyes turned pink with love as you realise that they are only selling you out of utmost adoration. “So where are you sending me?”
….
“Well you see… the hit 2000s emo rock band my chemical romance needed an assistant and they were willing to pay pretty good for someone of your caliber.” everyone explained. “You’ll be shipped off tonight… we’ve already packed all of your stuff.”
you looked at everyone’s ashamed faces but you understood that it had to be done. You stood up and opened your arms for a group hug.
“I… I’ll miss you guys..!!! Thanks for everything.. Wish me luck!” you inspirationally said into everyone's arms.
As you exited through the door with your suitcase, the group all waved goodbye at you.
In the distance, Jiji exclaimed excitedly, “YAYYY WE CAN FINALLY GET TACO BELL!!!!”

After walking for quite a while, you finally reached the spot where you were going to be picked up. Not too long after you reached it, a sleek black limo drove your way and pulled over next to you. The window rolled down and there he was. Gerard Way.
“Hey there 𝓶𝓾𝓷𝓬𝓱𝓴𝓲𝓷.. you must be Y/N. Get in, we sure have some things in store for you!” he said cutely, sparkles appearing around his face. The door opened and you got inside, where you greeted him face to face.
“Hello mr. way it’s very nice to meet you. I hope i can be a good assistant to you..! I’ll try my very best!” your purple ORBS glittered with determination.
“Oh please, no need for the formalities. Just call me Gerard,” he laughed, swishing his emo black hair around. You took your seat and noticed someone else in the car. He turned to face you and you realised it was Frank Iero My Chemical Romance.
“Hey there beautiful. Its me, frank iero my chemical romance. Its a pleasure to meet you.” He said, as grease dripped from his hair. you shook his hand gracefully and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.
“It’s nice to meet you too mr. iero! i will try my best!” you said with glimmering yellow orbs. (yellow means excitement and happiness). The sadness of losing all your friends had ALL gone away once you realised this wonderful opportunity.
“Oh please, Y/N, theres no need to be so formal. I told them youd be an assistant, but we really just wanted a friend!” said Gerard.
It was a long car ride to New Jersey but it was certainly eventful as you got to know Gerard and Frank. Eventually, you reached their house (because the band all lives together) and were able to unpack before meeting the other band members.
Mikey was the first to come and say hi, before Ray also came to introduce himself. You hung out with them for a while and ate pizza. Yummy
“Y/N, if you’re going to stay here with us you’ll need protection.” Ray said. “Don’t worry. We got you covered. Say hello to Leon Kennedy.” As he said that, Leon Kennedy from resident evil came into the room.
“Hello Y/N. I will be your body guard from now on.”
Everything was all happening so fast, but you knew this would be the new life you were getting happily used to already.

“Woooah, are those boxing gloves? So cool!!” Jiji gushed, noticing the equipment scattered on the floor by the wall of your bedroom.
Usually you spent time together at his house (or Momo’s house with the rest of the gang), but this time, he came over to yours. You were showing him around and you had finally gotten to your bedroom. He remembered you vaguely mentioning boxing before, and he knew you were strong, but to see it all in person was really cool to him.
You sat down at your desk with a grin, leaning your arm on the back of it.
“Yep! I was just practicing earlier so ignore the mess…” You said apologetically, spinning idly in your chair as he took in the contents of your room before comfortably settling himself on the edge of your bed.
“Hey, think you could teach me?” he asked with an excited sparkle in his eyes.
“You mean, teach you boxing? I mean… sure, I guess,” you said after considering it for a second. “Just hold on a minute, I’ll be right back!”
You quickly scurried off to where you kept your extra equipment and pulled out an old pair of boxing gloves, after which you came back to your room and presented them to Jiji, grabbing your own from the pile you left against the wall and handing him the older pair.
“They might be a bit small…”
He took the boxing gloves and with a little struggle, he was able to fit them onto his hands.
“Okay okay!!”—He made a punching gesture with his newly gloved hands—“What’s next, teacher!”
You snickered at his tomfoolery and led him to the center of your room, where you had more space to show him what to do.
“The first thing isn’t about punching, actually, but rather having a proper form,” you explained, as Jiji listened attentively. You showed him the right way to position his feet, and he quickly copied the way you did it.
“You also want to make sure your body is faced kind of diagonally to your opponent, and lead with your opposite shoulder,” you instructed while guiding his body into the right position. He quickly got a feel for it and allowed you to move his arms as needed, learning quickly like you figured he would.
You knew Jiji played a lot of sports, so you weren’t surprised at how quickly he picked up what you were teaching him. He was athletic, as well as strong, so you had no doubt he would be good at boxing, too.
“There’s four basic punches, the jab, the cross, the hook, and the uppercut—”
“Ooh, yeah, I know that one!!” he interrupted. You let out a chuckle and continued on with your explanation of the basic things he should know.
Of course, he picked it up almost immediately, easily following your guidance and movements. Before you knew it, he could pack a punch and guard pretty effectively, especially for a beginner.
“Wanna go against me?” you said, half jokingly.
“Go easy on meee!” he tried to prop his hands together in a prayer-like pose—to no avail, considering the gloves he was wearing. He was making a silly expression, as he usually was, but became focused once he saw you getting into form.
“Ready?”

Ever since you started dating Momo, she’s been inviting you to sleep over at her house all the time. While it was nice getting to see her so much, she wasn’t a very sound sleeper; she would sometimes move around and even mumble in her sleep. This didn’t bother you much, however, so you felt no need to mention it while she was awake, though you wondered what she could possibly be dreaming about.
The window curtains were slightly open, the only light in the room coming from the shining moonlight. Although it was very late, you were kept awake, unable to sleep; not unusual for someone with insomnia. Momo had knocked out hours ago beside you, her gentle snores and slow heartbeat the only sounds you could hear, aside from the shifting of the blankets as she moved around in her sleep. While thoughts continued to cross your mind, keeping you wide awake, you noticed the slight dryness of your mouth. Surely in her deep sleep, Momo wouldn’t mind you getting up only a minute for a glass of water; you gently lifted yourself out of the bed and covered her with the blanket, making sure to make as little noise as you could so as to not wake anybody in the house.
As you casually made your way down the stairs for a drink, Momo certainly noticed your presence gone. She squirmed around more than she did while you were there, and eventually awoke with a gasp. Her eyes darted around the room, searching for you, for your warmth. Unable to find it, she curled up on her bed, sweat dotting her forehead. Only a few seconds passed before she heard footsteps approaching. Momo was suddenly alert, as if some threat was coming for her; however, as the door creaked ajar, you walked in and were suddenly being squeezed by a pair of familiar green hands.
Realising it was just you and not… whatever she thought it might be, she immediately let you go. Wide eyed, you slowly made your way over to her bed, slightly shaken by whatever just happened.
“Momo? What’s wrong?” you whispered to her, sitting beside her.
“Nothing,” she stuttered out, sweating. “I thought… I thought you were something else.” She avoided your eyes, grasping at the blanket. You softened your gaze, placing a comforting arm around her shoulder.
“Don’t worry, it’s just me, Mo.”
Her stiff frame began to relax a little and she explained that it was just another bad dream; a yokai that came and got you, one she couldn’t save you from. Momo was a strong girl; always cocky and proud, and yet here she was in your arms, calming down after a nightmare. She was always looking out for everyone, always putting herself in danger to help others. She deserved to be taken care of for once, too.

On the outside, Aira seemed to have it all together. Once the two of you got together, she slowly began to put down her walls. She was still proud, still self-confident, but she stopped acting in the way she did in front of others. You had started meeting her… “friends”, and seeing her more and more, and soon enough she had come to sleep over. You had spent a quiet evening together, and soon were ready to turn the lights off and go to sleep.
While awake, Aira was much more cautious—meanwhile, in her sleep, she cuddled up close to you, comfortable—her soft frame gently moving up and down as she breathed. Eventually, you fell asleep with her in your arms, the room warm and calm, the quietness of the late hour tranquil rather than eerie.
In the depths of the night, Aira suddenly awoke in a cold sweat. Her sudden movement made you stir; seeing her eyes wide open and slightly wet woke you up.
“Aira? Are you okay?” you asked, gently. She seemed surprised to see you awake and buried her face in your chest, hugging you tightly. This was really unlike her, vulnerable rather than her usual high walls. She was showing you a side of her you had never seen before, a side that perhaps no one else had seen, either. You embraced her, patiently waiting for her to calm down enough to talk to you. She had never been an expert at communicating how she really felt, something her pride stopped her from doing; but now, all those walls were down.
She explained to you in short breaths about her nightmare, as much as she could remember. You whispered to her reassurances, hugging her and stroking her hair gently. She eventually calmed down, looking up at you with glossy eyes.
“Thanks,” she murmured sheepishly. Thanks for listening. Thanks for staying. She wanted to say more, but she was still new to it all, to letting down her defenses. But it was enough for you to accept for now, as you held her close and allowed her to relax, for she deserved it. A pretty girl such as herself needs her beauty sleep, after all.

Generally speaking, Jiji is the silliest guy you've ever met. Ever since you started dating, he's been asking you to participate in all kinds of shenanigans with him.
Today was one of those days where Jiji was feeling particularly tomfoolerish and you were chilling on his bed until he put his phone down, got up, and walked towards the door.
"My dearest Y/N, I HAVE an IDEA!!" he exclaimed before exiting the room.
Very shortly after you were left to ponder what your boyfriend could possibly have thought up now, he returned holding something behind his back.
"Whatcha got there?" you asked him, laying your phone face down on the bed and turning to face him.
"Have you ever heard of... drumroll please... the pocky game?!" he sang excitedly, pointed finger guns at you and pushing his hand out in front of him to show off a box of pocky, in your favorite flavor.
You hummed, nodding and sitting upright while he sat to face you.
Jiji struggled to open the box and the packet of pocky inside, but he eventually got it open after what took far too long, though you were used to his antics by now and patiently waited.
"Alright!! So we each put an end of the pocky at the end of our mouths and whoever eats the most of it wins!" He placed the flavored end of the pocky in his mouth and his face hovered close to yours so you could grasp the other end between your teeth.
He began a countdown with his fingers

And as soon as you saw the signal, you began to gnaw at your end of the stick before almost reaching his lips, biting off your end, and pulling away.
Jiji, clearly disappointed that you didn't kiss him at the end, pouted as you cheered, "I win!"
You giggled at his saddened expression and he immediately declared a rematch.
This time, you took the flavored end of the stick and him the biscuit side.
Again, the countdown began and hit one; you raced him down the pocky stick, taking the largest bites you could, but this time Jiji was able to catch you slightly off guard and stole a short kiss from you.
"Aha!! I got you that time!" he cheered, taking a pocky from the bag and eating it.
"You're not winning this, Jin," you say seriously.
"We'll see about that," he smirked. "Rematch, rematch!"
You pulled out another stick from the pack and stuck it between your teeth, pushing it into Jiji's mouth, beginning the third round.
You bit off as much as you possibly could at your absolute fastest pace, and it surprisingly paid off, as you reached his end first and pecked his lips.
His eyes widened for a split second and he blinked, caught off guard by your sudden move, making you giggle again.
"I win again! Told you," you hummed, kissing him on the cheek.
Jiji gasped loudly; "You've gotta be cheating!" he accused dramatically, poking at you before squeezing you tightly.
"I'm not!! I promise!"
"Pinky promise."
"Bet."
You linked your pinky with his and he pulled you close and gently pressed his lips to yours. You intertwined your fingers with him and returned the kiss before pulling away and sticking a pocky in his mouth.
"Last round, whoever loses... has to be little spoon," you declared. Jiji nodded and you got ready to start chomping. After a final count of three, you competed to the end of the stick but to your surprise, he reached you first and connected his lips to yours for a bit longer than just half a second.
"Well well well..." He smirked before tackling you into a big hug on his bed and kissing the top of your head, making fake "mwah" sounds.
"We should do this more often," you mused, wrapping your arms around his and sighing deeply, peacefully.

Ever since you moved to Kamigoe city, you've been seeing... weird things. An odd movement out of the corner of your eye, even when you were alone in your room. You heard sounds at night. You had nightmares of a horrific creature, a figure dark and misty with piercing eyes that looked into your soul, forcing you awake in a cold sweat, making your body feel weak and numb.
It was concerning how jumpy and anxious you had become ever since you moved; you seemed to be on constant alert. Was it hallucinations? Was it because of the change in environment? Had you gone insane??
It wasn't just at home, though. A constant eye was watching you, staring into you, haunting you.
You often stayed home sick, feverish, shivery.
There was a boy who joined your class. A certain Jin Enjoji—Jiji. He flirted around with some of the girls in your class and you observed from the back, ignoring the looming dread that hung in your mind. For some reason, he even tried to use some stupid pick up line on you.
You stared up at him, not speaking a word. Hopefully he would just get the idea and go away so you wouldn't have to worry about talking to him, but for some reason he seemed really adamant on getting you to react.
Jiji was clearly trying a little bit too hard, to the point where one of the guys that sat it front of you turned around and told him to quit it;
"Drop it dude, no one talks to her anyway," he chuckled nervously.
"Huh? Why?" the new kid asked.
The guy looked around at his friends nervously and you kept looking down at your desk, wishing this bothersome interaction would end.
You didn't come to class the next day. That stupid spirit kept its eye on you, the paranoia keeping you awake and the physical symptoms tiring you out even more.
When you eventually got back to school a few days later, after recovering, that Jiji kid came up to your desk before class started, like he did the first time you met; only this time, he came only to you, curious, intrigued.
"Elllooo!! Sooooo,, how come you were gone?" he asked playfully, leaning his arm on your desk, waiting for you to answer. There was something about him, about his aura, that felt... oddly safe.
"...Home," you mumbled in reply.
Jin gasped; "She speaks!! She speaks!!!" he cheered. You looked back down at your shoes. It was odd how often people said that.
"I've got another question!! Home...why?!" He made it sound like some kind of game show interrogation—"Home" for 300! You looked to the floor by the door—people were walking in to start class.
"...Sick."
"I see, I see! ANYWAY, wha-" he began, but he was cut off by the teacher clearing his throat and requesting silence from the whole class.
"Catch ya later!" he whispered to you, scurrying back to his seat on the other side of the row.
Once he left, you suddenly felt cold; you shivered, not realizing that the chill had vanished while he was at your desk until after he had left. That weird presence. Why had it gone away while he was next to you? Just what was up with that guy?
During lunch break, you sat by yourself like always and scrolled idly on your phone. You distracted yourself as usual, earbuds in your ears.
"BOO!" boomed a voice from behind you.
In shock, you jumped and suppressed a shriek.
Lo and behold, Jiji creeped up from around the corner and scared you. He began to laugh, but promptly noticed how you were staring wide eyed, without a word—unmoving.
"...Sorry..." he mumbled, scratching the back of his neck, smiling apologetically.
He sat down next to you and this time you noted that again, the air suddenly felt less cold, less chilling. You relaxed your shoulders, feeling more as ease than usual. It was an odd thing, a normal you weren't quite used to.
Jiji tried to make conversation with you and every once in a while you would respond to his yapping, or nod your head. He was set on trying to make you laugh, or at least smile. For some reason, he kept hanging around you since then, which you didn't mind. You didn't exactly show it, but you did enjoy his presence; and the sense of safety it brought.
Even though being around Jiji let you feel somewhat safe from the grasps of the spirit, that made it hit worse when you got home. Eventually it got bad again; you stayed home for a day, and a day turned to three. It made you sick, like there was something in your throat stopping you from uttering a word, your body heating up to fight it. Thankfully, it eventually calmed down and after the weekend, when you got back to school, you felt more at your normal, although it was clear from the bags beneath your eyes that you hadn't gotten much sleep.
Before class started, Jiji came up to your desk, smiling as usual, yet worry was still evident in his expression.
"Mooornin'! Where were ya this time?" he asked, leaning on your desk as he often did. "Siiick?" he guessed.
You nodded, glad to see him again. You noted that his hairstyle seemed to have changed a bit since you last saw him.
He found you during lunch after class in your usual spot, but it was clear to Jiji that something happened in the time you were away. To him, you didn't seem to only be sick. That, and he noticed that there seemed to also be a spiritual presence around you.
"Heeyy... You can tell me if something happened, y'know," he prompted as he sat next to you, opening up a Pompy and taking a sip.
For some strange reason, you trusted him. Trusted him not to judge you. Trusted him to believe you.
"It's... It's watching me," you said faintly.
"...It's watching you?"
Jiji thought in silence for a second. You were suddenly nervous that he wouldn't understand, that he was like everyone else.
You heard him mumbling something about an evil spirit under his breath and finally turned your head to face him with a look of confusion. An evil spirit..? Were those even real?
He grabbed your wrist and pulled you up with him, pulling you with him to your classroom.
"We're going to see Momo!" he explained.
Momo? Like.. Momo Ayase? What has she got to do with this? Besides, you had never talked to her before; what the hell was he planning??
She was sitting at her desk with two girls you recognized as her friends, Miko and Muko, and she seemed to be in the middle of a conversation before Jiji came into the room, with you almost hiding behind him.
"Momoooo!! We need to talk to you for a second!" He struck a pose, pointing towards her. You fidgeted with your hands, nervous.
"Hah? Bout what?" she inquired, turning to face the door and noticing you standing by him, as confused to see you as you were to see her; were you the "we" Jiji was referring to..?
"A possible evil spirit?" He made a spooky gesture with his fingers and Momo signaled to her friends that she would be right back, lifting herself out of her seat to meet the two of you outside the classroom.
"What's this about an evil spirit?" she asked, more to Jiji than to you.
"Well ya know how she's sick all the time? I think it's cause she can see spirits! Right? Riiight?? Don't you feel a presence too?"
She glanced at you and then at the ground, deep in thought.
"Now that you mention it, I guess so, yeah," she said, nodding.
She closed her eyes, concentrating, and made a grasping motion with her hands; from behind her, what looked like two giant, turquoise wings copied her movements. Or were they also hands? You couldn't help but stare in utter disbelief, blinking a few times to affirm what you saw.
"What the..." escaped from your lips.
Chills went down your spine as you heard those same sounds you heard at night in your room, only amplified a hundred times. It was as though you walked into a room where every sound was infinitely louder, echoing and echoing through your head, a chilling shriek. It took all your willpower not to scream, dropping to the ground and covering your ears to no avail.
Jiji kneeled down next to you, his lips moving and his eyebrows furrowed in concern, but you couldn't hear a word he was saying. Though the hallway was eerily empty, save for the three of you, screaming that seemed like it could be coming from crowds of people rang through your ears.
And then it stopped.
"Aha! Gotcha, you little shit!!" Momo exclaimed. You opened your eyes hesitantly, the first thing you saw being Jiji leaning over you and stopping you from falling over, sighing of relief seeing you less distressed. Both of Momo's sets of hands were clasped together tightly and she was smirking, the glowing green arms pulling something from out of your sight into to the hallway.
"It's pretty weak, I think... Oi, get up! We still don't know what it'll do!" she ordered, mumbling something about somebody whose name you didn't recognize under her breath. Jiji lifted you up by your hands and made sure you could stand before leading you away from it. None of this felt real, and yet, the painful headache it was giving you was the kind you could only feel in reality.
You closed your eyes again, biting the insides of your mouth and squeezing your palms.
"Hey, don't worry, kay? Momo knows what she's doing, trust me!" Jiji reassured you. "Like, she and Okarun saved me from a spirit like that not too long ago. It'll all be over soon."
He was still sort of holding you up, and when you opened your eyes slowly, you realized just how close he was to you.
"I think it's dead..?" Momo declared, the psychic hands vanishing from behind her and the air around you feeling warmer. Though you found it hard to believe, you didn't really have time to think about it because the school bell rang, signaling the end of lunch break.
Jiji smiled at you reassuringly—as if nothing had just happened—and the three of you went back into the classroom; people started to make their way into the halls, filling them back up after they were so oddly empty only a moment ago.
You sat back at your desk, your shoulders notably more relaxed than usual. You didn't pay much attention to the lesson for once, your mind on whatever the fuck just happened. So evil spirits were real and not just stories after all? Were those weird glowing hands real too? And what was it that Jiji said about Momo saving him from a ghost? Who was this Okarun person??
"Nah, something just came up. You didn't hear anything?" You heard Momo saying to her friends from the other side of the room.
But you could tell something had changed. You didn't feel its aura anymore. Whatever happened, it definitely worked.
Jiji found you after the last class of the day.
"I owe you an explanation, don't I?" He laughed.

♡ He immediately goes to Momo for advice and she clowns on him but ultimately tells him to get you some kind of gift.
♡ He does his own research and buys you a box of chocolates from the convenience store and when the day comes, he nervously tries to make conversation with you, stalling nervously before handing you the gift.
♡ The rest of the day, you spend time together; though, Ken is still as shy as he usually is with affection.

Generally speaking, Jiji is the silliest guy you've ever met. Ever since you started dating, he's been asking you to participate in all kinds of shenanigans with him.
Today was one of those days where Jiji was feeling particularly tomfoolerish and you were chilling on his bed until he put his phone down, got up, and walked towards the door.
"My dearest Y/N, I HAVE an IDEA!!" he exclaimed before exiting the room.
Very shortly after you were left to ponder what your boyfriend could possibly have thought up now, he returned holding something behind his back.
"Whatcha got there?" you asked him, laying your phone face down on the bed and turning to face him.
"Have you ever heard of... drumroll please... the pocky game?!" he sang excitedly, pointed finger guns at you and pushing his hand out in front of him to show off a box of pocky, in your favorite flavor.
You hummed, nodding and sitting upright while he sat to face you.
Jiji struggled to open the box and the packet of pocky inside, but he eventually got it open after what took far too long, though you were used to his antics by now and patiently waited.
"Alright!! So we each put an end of the pocky at the end of our mouths and whoever eats the most of it wins!" He placed the flavored end of the pocky in his mouth and his face hovered close to yours so you could grasp the other end between your teeth.
He began a countdown with his fingers

And as soon as you saw the signal, you began to gnaw at your end of the stick before almost reaching his lips, biting off your end, and pulling away.
Jiji, clearly disappointed that you didn't kiss him at the end, pouted as you cheered, "I win!"
You giggled at his saddened expression and he immediately declared a rematch.
This time, you took the flavored end of the stick and him the biscuit side.
Again, the countdown began and hit one; you raced him down the pocky stick, taking the largest bites you could, but this time Jiji was able to catch you slightly off guard and stole a short kiss from you.
"Aha!! I got you that time!" he cheered, taking a pocky from the bag and eating it.
"You're not winning this, Jin," you say seriously.
"We'll see about that," he smirked. "Rematch, rematch!"
You pulled out another stick from the pack and stuck it between your teeth, pushing it into Jiji's mouth, beginning the third round.
You bit off as much as you possibly could at your absolute fastest pace, and it surprisingly paid off, as you reached his end first and pecked his lips.
His eyes widened for a split second and he blinked, caught off guard by your sudden move, making you giggle again.
"I win again! Told you," you hummed, kissing him on the cheek.
Jiji gasped loudly; "You've gotta be cheating!" he accused dramatically, poking at you before squeezing you tightly.
"I'm not!! I promise!"
"Pinky promise."
"Bet."
You linked your pinky with his and he pulled you close and gently pressed his lips to yours. You intertwined your fingers with him and returned the kiss before pulling away and sticking a pocky in his mouth.
"Last round, whoever loses... has to be little spoon," you declared. Jiji nodded and you got ready to start chomping. After a final count of three, you competed to the end of the stick but to your surprise, he reached you first and connected his lips to yours for a bit longer than just half a second.
"Well well well..." He smirked before tackling you into a big hug on his bed and kissing the top of your head, making fake "mwah" sounds.
"We should do this more often," you mused, wrapping your arms around his and sighing deeply, peacefully.

Jiji is usually on top of all social media trends. That means he's always the first to ask you to do them, and this time is no different⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
(Let's set the scene…!) You're in his room scrolling on your phone while he's out on his morning jog. It's about 9 in the morning on a Saturday, so he should be coming back some time soon.
“Hello and good morning to my sweet and beautiful and wonderful girlfriend!” He exclaims as he walks into your (his) room. “Goodmorning!” You say in a big exhale as you stretch, almost like you're yawning. “What's the schedule for today, my totally handsome and awesome boyfriend?”
Jiji taps his finger on his chin, pretending to be deep in thought. “I'VE GOT IT.” and he whips out his phone to show you the slim pickins trend all over tiktok. “We've gotta do this!”
You watch as the girl in the video is picked up with ease by her boyfriend, a little scary you think. But knowing Jiji, oh man. He'd never stop bugging you about it till you ultimately gave in. And plus, isn't it every girl's dream to be picked and tossed over her very incredibly fit boyfriend's shoulder?
“Okay yeah sure.” “HUZZAH!”
“..but go shower first, you stink.” “:(”

“Alright!” Jiji says, a big goofy grin on his face as he sets up his phone. He walks over to you and you're feeling just as giddy as he is. You both giggle, standing and staring at eachother for a second. It's a sweet moment shared before he whispers, “ready?”
“Mhm,” you respond with a nod of your head.
And with that he walks back, still smiling and staring at you before turning to his phone and starting the tiktok.
The audio plays and you ready yourself as you watch him skip over to you and bend down to grab your legs. And it's as if you weigh lighter than air, that he picks you up with ease. You yelp and play it off with a laugh.
The audio ends and it plays your video back.
But instead of putting you down Jiji just walks over to his phone with you still on his shoulder. Watching the video on his phone with his free hand while the other rests on your thigh. He pats it with a satisfied hum and smiles at his screen.
“Ohmygoshokay,” you sigh, “put me down now please.”
You're…lowkey…getting…nervous! And it's not like he'll drop you. You just know he won't put you down.
He looks up at you with a mischievous grin and chuckles, “heh…” “HEH?!?? PUT ME DOWN JIJI”

Jiji was your best friend. You were like two peas in a pod, inseparable. Except... you had a massive crush on him. Most days, after school, you met with him and hung out by the school before going your separate ways, and even then probably spending much of the rest of the day talking on the phone.
On one of these afternoons, you were just enjoying each other's presence, occasionally making jokes or showing each other memes on your phone. You were sitting leaned against the wall and he sat with his back to a pole right near you.
"Hey, Y/N, look at this," said Jiji, turning his phone so you could see his screen. He had Tiktok open, and playing was a video of a couple doing a dance to "Disco" by Surf Curse.
"We should do this," he grinned, a sparkle in his irises.
"Right now?" you questioned, raising your eyebrows sarcastically and lifting yourself up off the ground.
"Right now," he nodded.
"So it's like this?" You copied the movements of the person in the video to the best of your ability.
"I think so," he smiled.
He hit record, and after a count of 3 the music started playing.
"cause there's nothing like it, not like the way you move,"
As the music played, you pushed your arms down, to the side, and up before moving your arms back and forth and dancing towards Jiji.
"i can try, but i can't hide it from you,"
Again, you danced to the music, this time moving backwards as he moved towards you.
The whole time, Jiji was really close to you. You could see the details of his face and the creases of his skin as he smiled heartily at you and you laughed together.
"Are we boutta kiss?" Jiji teased, jokingly.
Your face went completely red and you stumbled back, stammering.
"What???"
"Kidding, kidding!! Haha..." he clarified hesitantly, looking away shyly.
"Yo..." you scratch the nape of your neck, flustered.
"A-anyway, look! It turned out really good, eh?" Jiji showed you the finished video and you nodded.
You sat back down against the wall and leaned your head up against it, closing your eyes peacefully.
Jiji took a seat next right to you, and feeling particularly confident, you rested your head on his shoulder.
Though your eyes were closed, you could feel as he jumped a bit and his heartbeat quickened. Though, Jiji didn't oppose your actions at all. Rather, he almost... leaned into you?
"'cause I can't wait for you,"
"Um.. Y/N? Can I be honest about something?" It was almost as though he was holding his breath. Was he about to say what you thought he was about to say?? A part of you began to panic, making you open your eyes and sit up straight with a nervously high pitched, "Uh huh?"
You turned to face him, and he looked down at the ground, completely red-faced and unlike his usual jokey self.
"i can't wait for you,"
There was an awkward silence, completely unlike the usual energy between you. It was loud, though neither of you spoke a word, as though every other sound was amplified – you could hear the ants on the ground crawling and the distant cars on the streets roll against the pavement.
"So... um..." You awkwardly broke the silence after thinking hard about what to say. "You can tell me anything, you know..."
"admire all of you,"
"I know that, but jeez, this is hard to speak into words," he said dramatically, trying to relieve the tension.
Jiji took a deep breath before gently taking both your hands in his and looking you in the eyes.
"but fire burns me, too,"
Your eyes widened while he opened his mouth to say something, though he seemed to have second thoughts as no sound came out.
He closed his eyes and breathed deeply again, clearly thinking hard about all his life choices.
"Too late to go back now... S-so... uh..." he stuttered. In a quiet voice, he mumbled something you couldn't decipher, before apparently repeating himself.
"Y/N, I really like you."
You felt like you were about to light on fire. Your body and entire consciousness felt as though it was about to spin in circles and fly away, but you willed yourself to stay in the moment.
An earnest "Seriously?" was all you could think to say without spontaneously combusting.
"Yes, seriously, do I look like I'm joking??" he said almost desperately, gripping your hands tighter in anticipation, his grasp firm but not painful.
"can't stop that disco getting through,"
"Well no, this just kind of feels like a dream..." you sigh, exasperated, looking away shyly.
"Jin, I like you too," you admit.
"can't stop that disco, wanting you,"
"WOOHOO!!!" Jiji cheered, and all the tension in the moment flew out the window before your very eyes. It was so ridiculous that you began to giggle.
"Does this mean I get to be your boyfriend?" he asked excitedly, and the sudden change in his attitude from being somber and sincere to that of a puppy made your heart flutter, like you were going to melt.
"I guess so, yeah," you managed to say, still giggly and giddy.
"OH YEAH!!!" he looked as though he was about to jump up and down and do 20 cartwheels in his excitement, but to your surprise, he gave you a tight hug, enveloping you in a safe feeling, in his arms. You had hugged him before, but it was always friendly, never quite this intimate as it was in your daydreams.
"cause there's nothing like it, locking my eyes with you,"
Eventually, you both pulled away from the hug, though you stayed close together. You were suddenly conscious of his hands around your waist and how near his face was to yours.
"i can't fight it, splitting my mind in two,"
"You know, I never thought something like this would ever really happen," you mused. You felt his breath fan against your face with the close proximity; it was like his pure energy radiated off of him.
"Yeah, me neither," Jiji agreed, pushing your hair out of your face to seemingly get a better look at you. It was as though he was staring at you with heart eyes.
"You're... really beautiful, have I ever told you that?"
You were unable to hide your sheepishness, and in the position you were in, you couldn't exactly turn away. You smiled, averting your gaze with a warmth in your cheeks. The whole area around the two of you was empty, like you were the only ones in the world.
"So... About that kiss..?" You said softly, under your breath.
"W-what.??" Jiji stuttered, surprised, seemingly having heard you but not quite sure if he heard right.
"Ah- never... never mind.. haha.." You backpedaled, suddenly having second thoughts about your actions up until now.
"If you insist, milady," he asserted, inching closer to you and gently pulling you closer with his strong arms. The pace of your heartbeat quickened further, and you had a feeling like your heart was going to actually hop out of your chest and twirl off into the sunset.
"Am I dreaming?" you asked wistfully, looking into his eyes which reflected the light of the sun that shined through the clouds.
"I really hope not, because this is seriously the best," he breathed.
That look in his eyes made you feel entranced, charmed, enchanted. A small, confident voice in your head was encouraging you, urging you, to just do it.
You shuffled even closer to him and without really thinking about it, you closed your eyes and put your lips against Jiji's. You felt as his breath hitched and his body jolted a little against you at your sudden action.
Though it didn't last all that long, it felt like minutes had gone by. You pulled away and he gazed at you longingly. Abruptly, your brain started working again and you brought your hand to your mouth, eyes widening, realizing what you had just done.
"cause i can't wait for you,"
A mere few seconds had passed before Jiji grinned, a dreamy "Can we do that again?" escaping his lips before he brought them back to yours at your nod.
"I could so get used to this," he smirked.
"i can't wait for you,"
