we went to the city today, my team and i. we visited a known bakso place, a cute cafe near the base of the mountain, and to a much favored durian ice cream shop. it drizzles a lot and the air was cold, but i am so happy to breathe before the week starts

PhD Day 14: feeling very tired today (it's not even 7 am yet). I have so many things to do and so little time. My big deadline for my grant proposal is getting closer and closer and I feel like all these other tasks get on the way.

I just need October to end to be able to focus on the research :)

my dad mailed me my old journal and look what i found! pages upon pages of more screenwriting notes i took when i was just out of college. the notebook on the left is my old journal, and the one on the right is my current journal! the more things change, the more they stay the same, am i right? ♡
