for the longest time, i was hesitant to interact with non agere blogs or use main tags on my fandom agere posts. but i’ve since rationalized that i am doing nothing wrong nor am i causing anyone harm by being an age regressor. unless the original poster explicitly states they’d rather not have agere blogs interact, i am no longer afraid to do so, along with sharing fandom agere content with the rest of the community. it’s been so liberating for me personally and allows others who might be exploring their own regression or nervous about indulging in it themselves to see they are not alone. while i can understand the hesitation, i encourage whoever is comfortable opening up about their regression to do the same and share it with the world. don’t feel forced to of course - please do what you are most comfortable with, and if you prefer keeping your regression to yourself, that’s more than okay too! but you never know, you might end up making new friends from it 🫂 /nf

regression, at its core, is a trauma response. many of us have been the subject of abuse, negligence, and several other unspeakable acts that no child should ever go through and use regression as a coping mechanism to process, come to terms with and hopefully heal from their personal trauma. be mindful of this and refrain from entering their safe space with the intent of policing or harassing them as well as sharing possibly triggering details of your own experiences. of course you can relate to their struggles and express your sympathies, but please vent about your trauma on your blog rather than the tags or comments of their posts or their inbox.
