That’s the question that everyone has been asking since Robin Ammon disappeared into thin air on September 12th, 2016. A formally dual-enrolled student at University of California, Hermosa Beach, Robin had graduated a year early and gone on to officially attend UCHB that fall. However, less then a month into her freshman year, the seventeen year old Geophysics major vanished. The Ammon family quickly rallied the media, and within two days, all eyes were on UCHB. The mystery of what happened to Robin Ammon is what everyone is talking about. However, the students of UCHB just might know more about what happened to Robin then any of them realizes.
Just a week into the investigation, Hermosa Beach and UCHB are still swarming with both media and police officers. Robin’s disappearance is national news, and there is no shortage of people interested in everything and everyone from Hermosa Beach, California. The attention has done nothing to help the panicking parents and students, and security has tightened considerably. ID badges are now required for entry to every gate and building as extra security guards patrol the area.
With the country’s new-found fascination with Robin and the panic and fear that her case has brought to Hermosa Beach, some students are already fed up with the attention on their schools and their lives. Why should they have to change everything just because some girl they barely knew disappeared? As fascinated as the country is with Robin’s story, what no one seems to care about is the lives of those still left at UCHB. It’s time to tell their story.

Okay, so your name is suburbshq (tangent: when did hq become a thing in RP main urls? I think I’ve been in one group for too long because now that I’m trying to branch out again it seems like every group is something hq) and your background definitely gives me that suburbs/Desperate Housewives vibe.
That being said, I feel like there’s a lot going on with your theme. Usually I’m not a fan of the darkened, high-saturation color scheme, but that’s just my preference and not really something you need to change.
I feel like your theme is cramped as I’m also not a fan of these smaller themes most of the time. I prefer to have a theme sort of fill my screen so I can take it all in and not have to scroll all over the place.
I like your icon a lot because of the text. It’s really hard to make icon text readable, but you guys did just that.
Oooooh. Random tid-bit, but I like how your buttons on the side blur when you hover over them. That’s cute.
Considering you’re using a small theme, you made it work well with your navigation, so I do appreciate that. It seems organized and easy to work with.
Your plot is quick and simple, but it doesn’t leave me with any questions. Your little “OOC” summary at the end is helpful.
Overall, I feel like you did an okay job, especially for an appless rp. The theme and colors were kind of holding me back the whole time, but I think that’s less of a major problem and more of a personal preference. Good job!

Holla for name twins!! Isn’t it the worst having one of the most common names of all time? It kills me.
First things first, your theme is so clean and white and I’m honestly super into that. The green really pops and it all looks really pretty. So, good job on that.
In addition to that it seems to be super well organized and easy to navigate which is a big thing for me.
To go along with all the simplicity, I do like your graphics and your icon. Icons with RP initials are always a safe bet, and your monochrome with green matches your character graphics and other graphics perfectly.
I really enjoy the formatting of your plot. The way it’s organized with the bulleted IC rules section in the middle is so nice on the eyes and easy to understand. I knew of Matched already, but I think you do a decent job of explaining the idea to someone who isn’t familiar with the books, but is interested in joining the group. That being said, I think you should keep those people in mind throughout all of this since Matched has a somewhat involved plot.
Simplicity seems to thread through all your pages which is super rad. It makes my eyes so happy.
Your application is definitely interesting and the interview section is such a good idea for this plot. The only thing I would mention is that you don’t ask for a writing sample. Something to consider since this is a literate RP.
Overall, I really love how this group looks and I can tell you put a lot of work into your main and everything on it. Good job! Everyone should definitely check them out!
