I thought this chapter would shut up people who still want to claim hatted ralsei is better and "more expressive" BUT SOMEHOW IT HASNT???

for those people I just want them to see... hatted ralsei cannot make *these* facial expressions.

the purpose of a character design is to communicate information, inform a character, and tell a story. you may like hatted ralsei but if we're talking about "objectivity" objectively, no hat ralsei is better.

you can think hatted ralsei is cuter. you can think no hat ralsei's face sprites are kinda ugly. I might more or less agree with both points. but at this point you've gotta drop it. toby gave you what you've been asking for for years, the return of the hat. let it go

was reading flowery wiki and was kinda struck by how much this bothered me. feel like this is very subjective/speculative and comes from a biased perspective. yeah, asgore calls the flowers "little ones" once but you cant interpolate out that he sees them *all* as children. he especially does not seem to see them as *his* children since we can see the difference with how he priorizes kris vs how he treats the flowers.

my personal interpritation is that he doesnt connect the dots that those are his flowers at all, since he only has vague ideas about how the dark world works. but I would not put that onto the wiki. theres ways to describe a character dynamic that doesnt dip into speculation.

speaking of speculation, why does it go into his relationship with the other flowers in the section on his relationship with asgore???

flowery's dynamic with the other flowers is specified in his fight. hes only called an older brother to orange. hes on an equal, level playing field with blue, yellow, and green being described as some degree of rival or working partner to them.

I know nothing's going to be free from bias but I think a wiki should at least try to be. this section does not give good textual information on how asgore and flowery see each other. its not descriptive of their dynamic and relies deceptively on quotes to give an air of factuality and objectivity

the two characters that previously talked? that address asgore for attention? happen to be the two that are obviously meant to be read as children

maybe you think that part is a stretch but it doesnt change the fact hes not addressing flowery here so putting this on the wiki and citing it as proof he sees flowery as a child is .... not strong evidence.
