Kit Koopa shares just about everything with her two friends Rebel and Mattie. Although Kit would rather not have their kiddo, Ricky, see her as an 'Aunt' since shes honestly not comfortable with this. Nothing against him or the parents, just a personal preference. As Ricky grows older, he obviously calls her more formal names, given his militia background thanks to his entire family, and says "Miss Kit/Ma'am". Ricky Koopa eventually starts to think about joining the koopa troop but in the end decides to do something else with his life.
In reference to Mr and Mrs Cake’s twins in mlp; Ricky, Mattie and Rebel’s kiddo, ends up being a fire koopa like Mattie’s great-grandma on her dad’s side.

Okay so, (long post, canon cast)
Bucken-Berry Toad(canon: playable blue toad) married and divorced Kaitlynn Koopa(and eventually takes her out, refer to Kit’s origins comic for clarification on the ‘take out’ part if still confused)
Johnathan, Kaitlynn’s best friend and former lover, is Kit’s godfather/adoptive father and has helped raise Kit ever since she hatched. Kaitlynn was living with him at the time after the divorce since she had nowhere else to stay.
Lyle has two sisters and his father, Hermit, is a widower. Lyle’s older sisters are Lexi and Lisa. Lyle had been given a cloud ever since he was in his early days of high school due to severe damage to his body, but mainly to his legs. When present day arrives, he adopts a few spiny kiddos: Scarlet, Scott, and Sara.
Rebel had been deceased since his very first mission, and he hardly remembers his family nowadays, and his new family being his wife Mattie and (eventual) son, Ricky(a special kiddo :> from the storks)
Matilda(Mattie)’s parents are a hammer brother(dad, Henry) and an ice gal(mom, Frostine), both live in ice land. Mattie lives with her husband and (eventual) son, Ricky
Kit will have an oc x canon relationship as well, being with ludwig. She’s been called an Aunt by the kiddos she’s babysat since she was 16(she’s 23 in present day, when she and ludwig end up getting ‘married’(at the capital city hall) and while they had received an egg prior, Indigo Von Koopa. When she’s 25, the two end up being delivered twin eggs, having the kiddos Alexandra and Ludwig the Second.
Kiddos:
Ricky: Kit knew his parents since she was 16, house sitting was her starting gig then got into babysitting after he hatched
Scarlet, Sara, and Scott: Lyle adopted them after he found himself to be stable enough and to keep the three siblings together.
Indi, Alex and Luddy II: Indigo arrived before their parents got married, and was about 2 1/2 before they became a big sibling to twins Alex and Luddy II.
Retconed: the ‘Kit being in the foster care system’ idea
Updated: Kit was raised by her mom(until said incident at age 5) and her mom’s best friend(who is called an Uncle/adoptive father). Bio Father is absent
Rebel was raised by parents who were also in the Koopa troop but had retired. They never knew their son had been resurrected after his death.

Speaking of; an old idea for Kit was that she was gonna have a sibling named Kat just for shits n giggles but ended up scrapping the idea altogether. That’s not to say I haven’t come up with alternate timelines of this concept but I digress-
