What I learned seeing Queen + Adam Lambert: The Rhapsody Tour, Capital One Arena, 7/30/19

• Adam Lambert, despite his immense talent, is incredibly humble

• Adam in no way tries to replace Freddie, even thanking the band and Freddie for giving him this opportunity

• A lot of people weren’t there because of the film-they were there because they had seen Queen back in the 70s and 80s, and their love and passion for the band lives on

• Brian May is so fucking talented and also incredibly kind

• Roger Taylor’s voice is even better in person

• Adam Lambert is so so extra

• They all care so much about the members of the band that are touring with them. Adam introduces all of them and allows them to have everyone’s full attention. At the end they all came center stage and bowed together

• Brian looks so heartbroken when the hologram of Freddie appears. It’s obvious he misses and loves his friend

• OG stans of Queen and Freddie all really love Adam and are glad that he is touring with Brian and Rog

• Everybody goes fucking WILD for Fat Bottom Girls

• Brian May just really loves space
