does anybody know where i could possibly access episode 63 of the 2 much tv podcast . it appears every episode other than 4 royalty free ones has been wiped from the internet & anghami, despite listing the episode and seemingly playing it + having the audio file, is Not Working for me . but i need to hear this podcast so effing bad so i’m putting out this call for help
im actually going crazy trying to find this . turns out the issue with anghami is that it wasnt hosting the file itself and was streaming it from soundcloud, and the audio file has been deleted from soundcloud, sooo . ya . managed to get the link to the soundcloud upload of the file but it hasnt been archived so its not much use unfortunately
do i have to explain this. inspired by that part of the deleted scenes that they edited like they were actually filming with their younger selves. RPF but we're silly with it and time travel is real also
just found this absolute GEM oh my god?? random radio station in i think seattle did a phone interview with jay mccarrol way back in 2008 about the whole mccarroll/mcarrol dress mix-up? it’s so awesome. reveals that he first got the email about it while on his laptop with matt & they both thought it was hilarious, and that they both came up with the designer statement thing together… awesome. he also does some promotion for ntbts & the hosts are very confused by the website url. ill stop talking now but like ITS REALLY AWESOME GO LISTEN (they call jay at around 21:30)

im listening to interviews while annotating the artworks im studying (so i am doing homework ☝️) right, i just listened to jays coffee with composers one and. he mentioned swink!!! not by name but like it was obviously swink. first feature-length movie he composed for apparently! he also spoke a bit more in detail about what happened with dropping out of berklee (including that he left 2005) and stuff which was very interesting. and also lots of other fun and intriguing things about composing and the like but thats not the point of this post the point of this post is swink

SHAREWARE DISCS OF COMPUTER GAMES THAT YOU GET WITH GAMING MAGAZINES??? SHUT UPPPP STOP IT!!! LIKE IN PC ZONE!!! MY PC ZONE :)!!! “its almost impossible to explain to young people” Hi im young people and i understand shareware deeply . dont even joke lad. pal i know about the shareware they had on casette tapes with zx spectrum magazines and the ‘shareware’ that was literally just lines and lines of code you had to input by hand. (“oh i KNOW dada” voice) oh i KNOW shareware. sorry matt started talking about how if he could hed love to bring back shareware discs and i got carried away bc im quite passionate about shareware
also jay said you have to cast your mind back pre-internet to understand them and its like. well yes and no. in the 90s the internet existed and was often being used by the same people who read and worked on those gaming magazines . a lot of shareware in the 90s was shared online through various file trading networks and the like . im not explaining it very well but like. the shareware you really need to cast your mind back to pre-internet days to understand is the casette tape type of thing, the really analogue stuff where literally anybody could copy a casette of a game and then go give that copied tape to their friend the next day
oh my god also at one point matt said smth along the lines of “oh thats like what my cinematographer was saying” and like a fool i got my hopes up only for him to go on to explain he was talking about the cinematographer for tony 💔
matt saying all this stuff about how discussing what you did and didnt like about a movie/art in general is such a great bonding experience because it allows you to argue with your friends and explore these big important ideas but in a safe way because its ultimately all about a piece of fiction/a piece of art and not real life… i said oh im sure
