“Okay, I need some models for this project I’m doing for my portfolio. How comfortable are you with nudity?”
“I’m fine with it? What is your portfolio over?”
Something More || Christiana & Sloan
christiana--taylor
Relationships were something, that Christiana tended to avoid at all costs. Last time she had been in a relationship her emotions had been off, and before that she had been with her sire, even before that married. So relationships didn’t usually end well for her. But yet, here she was willing to try or attempt to sweep Sloan off her feet. This date seemed to be a test for both of them, to see if they had feelings beyond friendship. Granted, Christiana did feel more than just friendship. Not like she would admit that out loud, at least not yet.
Yes, it had been a bit nerve wracking, setting everything up. But she wanted things to be just right for tonight. Even though Christiana was highly out of practice when it came to dating. Seeing the other blonde, she couldn’t help but smile. Relaxing a little bit. “I was a bit more worried, that you had to break up a fight or something and was dealing with that.” Christiana moved over to her, and held out the flowers. “These are for you, hopefully this isn’t too cheesy or anything like that.” Leaning over, she kissed her cheek gently. “You look amazing.”
Sloan grinned as the vampire kissed her cheek and she took the flowers from her outstretched hands, inhaling the scent. “They’re beautiful, thank you.” She stepped around the bar top and grabbed a pitcher and filled it with water before she placed it on the back counter and slid the flowers inside. “I wasn’t sure what to wear, to be honest. I didn’t know if you had something fancy planned.”
It was a weird situation for Sloan, she’d known Christiana for so long, that she wasn’t sure what she was supposed to feel. She’d spent the last six years at Hair of the Dog, serving the blonde her drinks and fielding the flirting with a quick grin and a returned flirt, but she’d never considered something more and she felt like tonight was truly her deciding factor.

The diner was empty, not a soul in sight for the last ten minutes so Chuck decides to have a little fun before closing time. Taking out a quarter she slips it into the jukebox. These foolish things by Billie Holiday slips out of the speakers and a soft smile appears on the waitress’s features. ‘A cigarette that bares a lipstick’s traces, An airline ticket to romantic places, Still my heart has wings-’ She sings along swaying with her mop as she goes. ‘ These foolish things remind me of you, A tinkling piano in the next apartment, Those stumblin’ words-’ Lost too into the song she doesn’t hear the bell of the diner door ring out to let her know someone’s come in.
Sloan needed food and she needed it as soon as possible. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d had something that wasn’t a bitter liquid and she was far too hungover to attempt to cook for herself. Her hair had been thrown up into a messy ponytail and her body was wrapped in a soft fleece pullover, white t-shirt and black leggings, the only thing she cared to have on her body at the present moment. As she pushed the door open, she looked past the sunglasses perched on her nose and smiled at the sound of Chuck’s voice. “I feel like I need to pay for the show. Your voice is lovely, if not a little loud in my head.”

“I’m just going to assume that being naked means I had a good time, but also I really don’t remember how I got here or really any of the last week and I might die if I don’t get some water.”
Sloan had found Delilah passed out in a bush and had enlisted the help Dash to help the blonde get Delilah into her house and onto her couch. She’d draped a blanket over the werewolf and had passed out herself, sleeping heavily through the night. She’d woken up rather early and found herself in the kitchen, the coffee brewing and eggs and sausage sizzling away. At the sound of Delilah’s voice, she filled a glass with water from the fridge door and made her way into the living room, glass outstretched. “Well, the bush you were curled up in didn’t seem like the most comfortable of places to sleep, so I brought you back here.”

“I don’t know what’s more entertaining, watching drunken antics at Monster Jam or watching hungover idiots after.”
“The hungover ones are my favorite. And it is no way directly correlated to how many Bloody Mary’s I have to make at the bar.”

Waverly Earp (Wynonna Earp) - “I’m starting to think sanity is overrated.”
Trish Walker (Jessica Jones) - “That’s justice and I’ll fight like hell for it.”
Buffy Summers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) - “That would have sounded more commanding if I wasn’t wearing my yummy sushi pajamas.”

Dash was trying to enjoy himself and so far he was finding himself rather successful in that endeavor. When he felt a set of hands cover his eyes he instantly recognized the voice. “Please say, Rihanna, Please say, Rihanna.” He chanted before turning around to see Sloan. “You’re not Rihanna, but you’ll do.” He said drunkely wrapping her in a hug and spinning her around.
“Oh thanks. I can feel the love, truly. Asshole.” She returned the hug with a drunken grin and giggled as she felt her feet leave the ground. “Don’t squeeze me too hard Dash, I may die.”

Levi was to his waist in plastic balls, and they were starting to feel a lot like quicksand and his pushed forward. He leaned over, one hand reaching into the pit as the other held his drink above the surface. Truth be told, the ball pit was beginning to smell a lot more like alcohol as the night went on and it was filled with more adults than children. Although, earlier in the day, it had been a child friendly area and he’d had Ali here, enjoying herself and attempting to be a normal little girl. He’d taken the kids home a bit earlier and left them in the care of a babysitter before he decided to have some fun as well, and he was already a few drinks in. And then he got the call- the one telling him that his daughter had left her stuffed elephant behind somewhere. He searched the pit, his movements a bit less than graceful, when a familiar voice caught his attention and he was forced to laugh at the sight of her. “I’d love to- but I’m dealing with a crisis! We got a missing Phanty!” He called back, fairly- but not entirely- sure she would know what he meant. “I swear that beady-eyed bastard is out to kill me.”
Her lips formed an O as he spoke of the lost two, and she did her best to wade through the balls towards him, fighting against the feeling of being pulled under the entire way. “I’m here to help save the day!” Her words were slightly slower than normal and the alcohol in her cup was surprisingly still there, despite maneuvering through other drunken adults and deadly plastic balls. She reached him with just enough space to try and steady her feet before she slipped and went under, sputtering and flinging limbs about. Her arm was flung into the air as she hoped he would help pull her up before she was lost to the ball pit forever.

Maybe it was the run with Nichlaes that had the blonde, tensed up. But she needed to relax and the one way she knew that she could, was to drink a little bit. Not blood of course, but an actual beer was in her hand. Usually she was a scotch or whiskey type of girl. But tonight, she drank beer. She started to became less tense, and actually relax. Even decided to go to the concert that was going on. That was when she noticed the other blonde, Sloan. Making her way over to her, she couldn’t help but grin. “I was hoping to run into you.” She said, honestly.
Sloan was currently rocking out the Vamps, her drink in her hand and her hair flying as she jumped around, lyrics spilling from her lips at the top of her lungs. She turned when she heard the voice and grinned. “Christiana! Do you like the Vamps too?!”

Keats grins at his co-worker, taking another shot quick before ditching his shirt. ‘Oh hell yeah. You’ve practically got the word slow in your name.’ He laughs. ‘See you there.’ He grins before fully sprinting toward the slip and slide.
“You’re on.” As he shed his shirt and starting sprinting, she took off, her legs carrying her towards the second slip and slide, flinging her body down the slick plastic arms out in front of her and her ankles crossed to aid in her speed. She grinned as she popped up at the bottom of the slip and slide, pushing her damp hair from her cheeks.
leemanfred
‘I already know that. It’s not like I came here willingly.’
“Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re a grown adult, right? Which would therefore mean you could have actually said no and stayed home. But since you’re here, why not make the most of a situation you don’t want to be in? Or, you know, go home?”
morgankeats
Keats downs his shot, the burn barely registering as the alcohol slips down his throat. His plans for this entire week were to drink, flirt, fuck shit up and black out at some point. Starting with a particular activity that’s caught his attention. Turning to the person next to him, Keats smirks. ‘I bet you ten bucks I can beat your ass down the slip and slide.’
Sloan raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms over her stomach. She’d come prepared today, her bathing suit top on under her currently discarded top and her overalls shorts over her bikini bottoms. “Do you really wanna take that bet, Keats?”
leemanfred
‘Swear to god if I hear another shitty pop song my head’s going to implode.’
“Buddy, I hate to break it to you, but you might be at the wrong place if you’re not into pop music.”
@dashhastings
Sloan was on the hunt for her wayward best friend, knowing he was somewhere inevitably shirtless and drinking. She scanned the crowds and her lips split into a grin as she spotted him near the stage. Taking off, she weaved through the half naked bodies and the absurd amount of fringe, her hands covering his eyes as she closed the gap between them. “Guess who?”
