From the summer theme I knew early on I wanted to draw a picnic, and with your prompt of "fantasy creature AUs" I decided to make it a fairy picnic, because teeny-tiny picnic sets are adorable. That's probably a napkin they're using as a picnic blanket xD

That manga omake with Shadow's blog is very funny. I've often thought that if put on the spot about his made-up "girlfriend," he would get flustered and claim "her" name is Viola / Violet / some variation on that xD

The pieces don't FIT like they used to

...look this was originally going to be a fun spooky Halloween Green dressed up as Frankenstein's monster because "haha the pop culture version of the monster is often depicted as green."

Then I thought about it too hard and it became OG Link "the canonical ending of the manga is a tragedy" angst
