This    is    purely    fictional    :    I    just    made    it    up    because    I    love    those    two    and    enjoy    messing    with    them.    I’m    sure    all    their    dates    have    been    wonderful,    and    unfortunately,    they    probably    won’t    name    their    firstborn    after    me!

Lucien    was    halfway    through    his    drink    when    his    phone    buzzed.    He    didn’t    even    look    at    it    at    first    —    just    let    it    sit    there    on    the    table,    vibrating    once,    twice,    before    he    finally    glanced    down. little    cupid.    Of    course.    He    unlocked    it,    already    expecting    something    mildly    chaotic.    this    date    is    a    total    disaster.    can    you    call    me    with    a    fake    emergency?    He    stared    at    the    message    for    a    second. Then    huffed    out    a    quiet    laugh,    dragging    a    hand    over    his    face.    “Unbelievable,”    he    muttered    under    his    breath.    His    thumb    hovered,    then    typed:    you’re    on    a    date    with    Elyr.  Another    message    popped    up    almost    instantly:    I    KNOW    😭    THAT’S    THE    PROBLEM Lucien    leaned    back    in    his    chair,    shaking    his    head    slowly,    a    smirk    tugging    at    his    lips. you’re    asking    me    to    sabotage    my    friend? he’ll    survive.    I    WON’T.    He    let    that    sit    for    a    moment,    taking    a    slow    sip    of    his    drink,    clearly    enjoying    this    more    than    he    should. define    disaster. he    just    asked    me    what    my    favorite    color    is    and    I    PANICKED    AND    SAID    “tuesday” Lucien    went    quiet    for    exactly    three    seconds.    Then    —    He    laughed.    Actually    laughed.    Low,    brief,    but    genuine.    you    said    tuesday? DON’T    MAKE    IT    WORSE    JUST    CALL    ME    He    exhaled    through    his    nose,    already    unlocking    his    phone    further.    you    owe    me. I    WILL    NAME    MY    FIRST    CHILD    AFTER    YOU    JUST    DO    IT  ,    he       already    hitting    call.
