Tarre does not let himself react outwardly: he's been a Jedi for far too long to make a mistake like that, and even if he were to react, what would he do? What would he say? That his time is long gone, and he's still yet to understand why the Force has brought him here?

Nobody would believe him, and there comes the irony: he doesn't believe the other either, not entirely. Maybe he just thinks, Tarre considers, that he's younger than he sounds under the buy'ce. Or maybe he's been more long-lived than expected.

Still, the Force is sharp, and clear, and so of course Tarre tilts his head.

"Try me." He speaks, tone amused, his Basic flawless and his accent Coruscanti, despite the Mandalorian armor. "I really like ancient history."

A faint smile formed on Kun's lips as he shut his eyes for but a moment before nodding." Very well. Let this be a decent history lesson for you, Tarre." He walked over to a rock and took a seat. His gray eyes scanning the mando's armor before nodding.

"In my time, jedi fought consistently with the sith. Unlike your time where they are thought to be extinct. In my time they came by the thousands." He clenched his fist as he remembered it. " It was the time where force magic and alchemy were accepted, where it didn't matter the age you were. You were trained in the art of not just protecting yourself. But others. Single jedi lead their own armies into battle. Facing off against sith lords and apprentices alike. It was a time where strength was your greatest ally."

He reached into his armor and pulled out a holocron. Activating it he placed it on the ground as it activated a holographic view of a solar system." These times were far more dangerous than the likes of today. Where sith were capable of destroying not a few measly planets. But entire solar systems."

In the hologram a anchient sith ship flew close to the star of the solar system. And ripped out the core of the star. Resulting in a near instant explosion on the star. The view bright enough to blind even kun on the hologram. Planets destroyed in mere seconds as the star's spreading explosion hitting each planet one by one. Trillions dying.

"You wouldn't know what it was like to fight in wars against armies worth of sith lords. You Jedi today are needless to say are..too bureaucratic. It's almost pathetic. Your people gave up. Bending to the will of a Chancellor instead of yourselves?" Kun grabbed the holocron and stuffed it back into his armor as he shook his head lightly." Ive seen better leadership from my apprentice than from the likes of the weak jedi council of today."

Night had fallen on Korriban by the time Kylo had found the correct tomb. Heavy clouds concealing the stars were intermittently illuminated by a coming storm’s lightning. The atmosphere felt… powerful here. Placebo, perhaps.

As Kylo arranged candles to light, his heart accelerated. What if this really did work? Killing Snoke had been absolutely the right thing to do, but he hated having no master. But what if after all this Exar Kun had no desire to help him?

“He will.” one of his comrades tried to encourage him. “You aren’t just anyone! You’re the supreme leader of the galaxy!”

That didn’t meant he ever felt like he really knew what the fuck he was doing… Which is what had inspired this necromancy project. (As well as a fascination with blood magic.)

The right incense, the right candles, the right star scape. There was a certain romance to ritual magic Kylo enjoyed. He ignited his lightsaber, invoking the elements and planets associated with each side of a heptagram he traced before him and moving through each direction. Like his blade, energy popped and cracked around him as his aura and focus strengthened.

He deactivated the blade, placing it out of the way so he could peel one of his gloves off as he knelt over the candle with the strongest flame. With a small blade he slit his wrist, calling upon Exar Kun as he watched his blood drip into the fire.

His gaze turned to one of his knights. “Haydn. I need you.” said Kylo. He returned to his feet and extended his hand. “Because Korriban was in retrograde with the full delta moon in the third house of Sauron at the time of your birth… It has to be you. I wouldn’t make a decision like this unless I am certain.”

“Me…?” Haydn stepped back from the circle… “What do you mean me?”

Kylo removed his mask, advancing. “He will need a host. And we need him.”

A few more steps back and Haydn bumped into a wall. Kylo smiled softly, reaching to remove his comrade’s mask. “It will feel wonderful,” he murmured over Haydn’s lips. “And you will be a treasured hero.”

I’ll cooperate if you kiss me first. Hadyn replied silently.

I can do that. Kylo leaned in closer, and as he pressed his lips to his, Hadyn brought one hand to Kylo’s chest and slid the other into his hair.

Soon Hadyn was undressing so that Kylo could cut the relevant planetary glyphs into his forearm. He took a moment to taste it in a series of kisses before he brought him to bleed into the same candle that he had while Kylo continued his incantations.

There was a coolness in the area that would make anyone shiver. It wasn't natural. It was almost ethereal in a way that made the force bend and twist as Kylo's words spilled into the air and into the ritual. A blood ritual that made him stir.

Something was there. Something dark and unseen as a gust of air hit Kylo's face. Then switched to Haydn's body. His body involuntarily jerks as he gags as his blood drips. And drips. And drips. Then it didn't. His eyes widening with pain as he steps back deeper into the heptagram as the blood that dripped into the flame made the glyphs engraved in his arms glow a bright red as his body begins to float above the ground.

Legs lift off the floor as the air shifts in a cyclone like motion around the man before it abruptly stops. The body falls to the floor without grace as he falls on his stomach. His eyes shut and body unmoving until an abruptly deep gasp of air filled his lungs. His body was ridged and awkward as he coughs a few times before he pushes himself up. Haydn's eyes weren't his own anymore. Their usual color shifted to a gray as an anchient sith brand started to form on his forehead.

"You.." his voice was different to. Trying to get to his feet was a chore. He hadn't physically walked in over four thousand years as he stumbled trying to catch himself." I breath again..he looks at the glyphs on his arms as his eyes narrowed before a sharp smirk formed on his lips as he clenched his fists to feel the stretch of skin against skin.

"I live!" He laughs victoriously as he looks around to see Kylo. His gray eyes pinned on him for a good moment before he approached him. He felt. Shorter. But he was ALIVE. He couldn't complain." I suppose I should thank you. Though I know there is a reason as to why you brought me back.." he tilts his head slowly. He could sense the darkside in this man before him. But it was weak. Very weak. Almost pathetic.

"Tell me."

Honestly his fate was pretty sad. How he called out to Ulic but he couldn't hear him because he lost his force abilities. I sob for him 😔 😢 😭 🤧

I Headcanon that Kun loved Ulic. But wasn't able to admit it in time. He was extremely close with Ulic and was willing to risk being captured himself when he went to rescue Ulic from his exicution. Sad days.

The fact Exar kun is a better dullest than anikin says a lot. Considering he knows a more anchient way of the force thats been long forgotten as well as moves that most likely died out makes me think. He's a bigger threat than Sidius. I mean he convinced a sith woman to blow up a whole SOLAR SYSTEM compared to the pathetic few planets the empire destroyed in their time of rule. Boi. Don't mess with Exar Kun sjdj

Kun looked at his hand then back to Jaing. Then took his hand in his to reciprocate the jester. He remembered how Ulic beat and dominated their leader way back in his time as he introduced himself as well.

"Exar Kun." He only would give his name. Not his affiliation with the dark side. To most he either appeared as a scavenger wearing anchient armor of the Jedi order. Or an actual warrior from the time period somehow arrived in present day. Whatever the choice was he'd rather not be affiliated with today's sith. They disgust him.

"Palpatine or should I say 'Sidius' is pathetic. Using clones to kill the jedi by stabbing them in the back?" Kun sneered slightly at the mention of the old man who dared go by Bane's despicable 'Rule of Two'.

"I remember when the sith ruled by the thousands..a powerful force that would wipe out countless Jedi without the need to sneak up on them." He shook his head and sighed." It was..different then than it is now. The sith are down to a hand full. Now goes the same for the Jedi." He chuckled shaking his head.

They were hard to corrupt. Unless they had some sense of guilt or hidden anger beneath the surface. He'd rebuild the Sith in his image. And he'd start by killing Sidius..

Jaing clasps the man's forearm, just as his own is clasped. A brief squeeze of muscle, a consideration of force, and then a release. He gives a small "ah" of understanding.

Though how much does he really? For Jaing looks at this man, listens to his words, and thinks, he's either actually that fucking old, or he thinks he is. Immortal, or crazy.

Does it make a difference? For Jaing, at this moment... not a bantha backside's worth of difference.

"Sounds like you want to kill him." He tilts his head, considering, assessing.

He's halfway to madness himself, for all the past few years have been. The fall of the Republic, the death of Etain (jetii, sister, it didn't matter his heart beat in mourning), the Empire's presence on Mandalore growing and Kad'ika (ad, jetii, family who needed so much more than they could give).

"You got a plan, or backup, or you just gonna charge right in there?" The way the words come out of his mouth, the look on Jaing's face- it wouldn't take a genius to piece together that he's thinking of it himself now. Or that despite that their knowledge of each other is new, that Jaing is crazy enough himself to throw in with the idea.

"I'm not an idiot. Just barging in would result in failure." He wasn't wrong. He did want to kill him. But he needed backup. He didn't have an apprentice anymore. He didn't have his army, he was alone. Even with so much strength behind him he couldn't take on an army alone. It would be foolish.

His gray eyes shift slightly as he rubs the brand on his forehead. A slight itch." If i had a sith holocron and a handful of jedi I'd be set. But since the moron excicuted order sixty six I'm lost." If he could play at his own game then perhapse he could get close to him and strike then.

A piece of metal nearby immediately folds in on itself out of rage as he takes a deep collective breath before he looks at Jaing again." Tell me..what has changed of the mandalorians. Do you still partake in the challenge to the death?" He tilts his head. Things have changed over the past four thousand years he's been trapped on Yavin Four.

"Who runs your group now..?" His gray eyes narrow. Perhapse if he challenged their leader again if the rules havent changed. He'd have a better chance at an attack against Sidius.

I never really liked the modern starwars stuff like Obi-Wan and Anikin I always loved the older stuff. Skk. The comics involving kun were my favorite and never stopped. So I figured I'd make him be in modern day starwars. For funsies.

Kun looked at him. Studying him. He's seen so many men like him after he left Yavin Four. His gaze going over an ocean's worth of clones for a pointless war that turned out to be a game of chess. And the bastard Palpatine was the puppeteer pulling the strings on the whole thing.

Pathetic. But he had more respect for the Jedi now than he ever did four thousand years ago. His smile was small as he studied the clone closely.

"An ARC Trooper..tell me. How have you escaped your duties?" A curious question. One he was itching to know. Many clones. Each one holding a different story from the last as the same person died again and again. They were all the same person and yet. They were different from one another. Taking a step towards him he cocked his head to the side." What name have you chose for yourself?"

Strands of his long hair hit his face as the dark circles under his own eyes showed a hint of exhaustion. He may have looked like an ancient Jedi. But he was far from the man you wanted to come across. But he remained unmoving. He wouldn't attack unless the former Trooper happened to play hard ball.

"Jaing Skirata, formerly Covert Ops Captain Null-10." He offers his hand, stretched out for a Mandalorian style greeting. "Never was one for following orders, or playing by the duties they wanted us to." And even that is clear, in how easily he's giving these answers. The aura of the man is one that should demand secrecy, and yet-

Kun had been separated from Ziv for a long time. Too long. His skin was beginning to pale. Too harshly around the stump of where his arm used to be. His eyes were glassy, and he was beginning to salivate a lot. Any piece of living flesh was starting to look good as visions of his past come to plague him. His eyes shut. His auditory hallucinations were persistent.

Unable to cover his ears he shut his eyes and attempted to meditate on a bed id a bunk room he locked himself in. His expression unreadable and cold as he took labored breaths. He needed Ziv because she supplied him with the blood transfusions he had to have to keep this sickness at bay. And now? He was most likely going to become one of thoes things out in the star ship's depths. His head would occasionally twitch. His eyes would open to see his former master Baas and countless other paduwan's under his leadership staring back at him.

Till he heard the door get banged on. He flinched. His eyes squint while closed as he finally opened his eyes to see no one at the door. Then..the voice. That voice. It was her...right? His own mind was becoming his own worst enemy as he got to his feet and unhooked his lightsaber from his belt. Twirling it slightly he cracked it to look outside the door. Then. Looked down.

"Ziv..I'd offer refreshments but I wouldn't want you to catch this cold.." he coughed. Hard. Blood was starting to form from the force of it as he let her in and shut the door behind her.

"I don't suppose you have any blood on you..?"

Kun remained stationary. Silent. Almost unreadable as he took a deep collective breath and then..slowly exhaled. He slowly looked over the ancient text. Despite how he was dressed. Dressed like a ancient Jedi knight he was far from a good man. This man was dangerous despite how calm he looked.

"You're lost.." He said calmly as he ran his hand against the texts that lined the wall. Engraved deep within the smooth stone that spelled a specific history." Confused. Not surprising. Most are when you walk across the ruins of a sith temple.." he tilted his head. Looking towards her as his grey eyes scan her form as if he knew her.

"Four thousand years of nothing but time on your hands.." He smiles. A calm almost welcoming smile. As if an old friend had come to visit him. But he didn't know her. No. She was just as much a stranger to him as he was to her. The brand on his forehead shined slightly from the light. But there was something he lacked that most jedi weild.

His lightsaber was gone. Nowhere to be seen. He could be mistaken for a scavenger stealing from the remains of the planet and temple. However there was one thing that ruined that theory. Rocks floated around him like gravity had given up.

"May I finally be free from my prison?"
