#I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THISSSS#beyond the rawness of embodying a bodhisattva that went 'naw fuck that I'm staying till EVERYONE can join me' I think he#that being his final 'enlightenment' in a sense and the route for his character is interesting as shit#bc like. he really does make good on it! his attempt to give Sukuna another chance immediately after popping his domain for one#but also the direction his character goes in modulo. he suffers for it#he loses his chance in this life to die surrounded by loved ones because of it#even down to him sticking around and promising to endure whatever comes from altering purged energy#from attempting to make a world where no one has to suffer like he did#putting himself in stagnation as a cursed object as a contingency. delaying his reincarnation#in the realest truest sense he's sticking around until all souls are free and all hells are empty it's so fucking peak
