This kind of bullshit behavior can be considered intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, stalking, harassment, blackmail and/or invasion of privacy in a court of law. Civil restraining orders to prevent him/her from posting the images may be possible. It depends on the state you live in, but a few sites I’ve found on the subject of legality are:
