How long have I listened to them? Exactly since that blessed August of 2021, never been the same since :)

Favourite song: I’ll Be Here in the Morning and it’s basically my favorite song of all time, full stop lol

Least Favourite song: now this is interesting, I’ve NEVER had to answer this question in my life and it’s honestly close to impossible. 😂 I guess probably Talking Karate Blues?? I don’t hate it by any means but I just prefer other Talking Blues songs from him.

Favourite Album: I have two answers for this, my favorite studio album is Townes Van Zandt (1969) and my favorite live album is Rear View Mirror. I always go back and forth between those two for favorites.

Have I ever Seen them in Concert? Yeahhhh unfortunately kind of impossible 🥲

Any merch I posess: I’ve got two books, a few albums on vinyl and a t-shirt

Favourite Single/Music Video: LOL the concept of Townes making music videos is already hilarious, but for singles I’ll go with Pancho & Lefty/Heavenly Houseboat Blues

How long have I listened to them? As in regularly listening to them, a little more than a year

Least Favourite song: mmmm maybe Mucky Fingers, I don’t care much for that one

Favourite Album: Definitely Maybe

First song I’ve heard from them: probably Don’t Look Back in Anger

It’s a year today since Oasis unexpectedly became one of my life-defining musical artists and I feel like enough time has passed that I can sort of put things into perspective a bit more. Like only a handful of bands/artists before them, they have managed to influence my life and my sense of self in a very tangible way. The biggest difference I noticed in the last few months especially was my ability to stay hopeful even in the face of dissatisfaction and disappointment. That is exactly what I’ve come to love most about their songs and apparently it rubbed off on me a little. Things seem to be slowly turning around again and I know I probably couldn’t have gotten there without them.

it's so wild to me that you absolutely cannot force a hyperfixation to happen. like you'll watch the most perfectly tailor-made-for-you content that everyone says you'll love and feel absolutely nothing, and then the thing you watch on a whim to fill time will reach through the screen and put its damn fingers in your brain and start rearranging the neurons right in front of you and every single time you're like THIS??? THIS??????? and this happens like every 6-12 months forever
