He huffs at that. ::Dinobots not hurt Dinobots.:: There's a difference between trying to kill each other for fun and profit and stuffing one of them in a hole, he just can't verbalize it. They'll hurt each other sure, but they won't bury each other in a cave to die and that's the important bit here.

::Dinobots smash each other! Fun. But not hurting. That not fun. Them Dinobots not do holes.::

There's a long silence at that set of questions as he considers. He can't think of a time they have, actually. For either question. It's possible they have but he honestly doesn't remember a time.

::Us Dinobots dinobots,:: he settles on finally. ::Dinobots not hurt Dinobots.::

As if that settles the matter. (It does, but Sludge doesn't currently have the words needed to explain the concept to an outsider, not really. He can't explain holes and dark and alone and brothers to someone that wasn't there and isn't one of them, not even Spidermom.)

He made an annoyed noise at being interrupted. He was trying to tell things in order, Spidermom. Don't you know how stories work?

With a withering sigh, intended to show his sheer disappointment at having to skip ahead like this he answered the question. ::Him Grimlock said so. For now, him says. Us Dinobots get to beat up them decepticons! Smash lots of stuff! Is okay.::

“Me Sludge will. Then him Spider not be weird anymore.” He nodded to himself. This was a much better plan than trying to figure out how to steal Jazz’s hands to throw at Spidermom.

He might still steal them as back up, just in case.

Swoop nodded along with Sludge. His regular chipper spirits returned now that this very simple solution - which required nothing from him - was found.

A moment passed in pleased silence. Then…

“Throw Me!”

Sludge obliges, flinging his brother across the cave like a Frisbee. Nothing says good time like Swoop tossing.

Now he just needs someone to toss Swoop back at him.

Sludge made an indignant sound. “You Swoop never tell story right, him Spider come ask me Sludge. Me tell better.”

“YAH!” Swoop bobbles his head in self defense. Normally, he’d dive into arguing in his own defense. However, in this case, he pauses and then continues his enthusiastic bobbling for another reason. “You Sludge call Him! You tell Him story BETTER!”

He reared back in surprise. “Why him say bad stuff?” What did the two Autobots do to deserve such terrible treatment?

Was he going to have to steal someone’s hands so he could go throw hands with Spidermom? (Maybe Jazz, Jazz hands was a thing people kept saying so they must be good for throwing.)

“Why you show him Spidermom holes?”

Normally, scaling one of his brothers while they reared and bucked was a hoot. Today, however, Swoop couldn’t get into playing this game. There was Serious Business afoot. 

“Him Spidermom in cave for patch up Me Swoop injury. Him see holes all by Him Self! Me Swoop explain, tell story. Spider say ‘negligent’ and ‘why You love Them’ and ‘Dinobots only do stuff OTHER BOT say do!’“

Well, what's weird about that? That's just how Spidermom is, questions and Science. Totally normal.

He does squint a bit about the thought someone was asking about holes and Dinobots though, the reaction delayed as the realization trickles in. That's dangerous.

"You Swoop tell him Spidermom stay away from holes."

Tyrannosaurus Wrecks

Hot off the heels of a very baffling confrontation with a spidery scientist, Swoop toddles to a cave that was more centralized to where the Dinobots often hung out. An excellent spot for yelling…

“Him Spidermom being weird!”

He makes a pleased noise at that, settling. He got candy! Excellent.
