Ross: well that’s what I’m planning to do.

*They write something on a piece of paper and hand it to Spencer.*

Spencer: that’s probably not what the anon meant, but okay.

Ben said to be careful and not trust anything there. Also that youre going to be mad at him.

*Ross sighs.*

Ross: he’s not wrong for any of those.

Spencer: Okay! Moving on, you’ll just need to pick up the items from Xenos. Then head their to get them... you sure you want to do this alone?

Ross: well it seems to most dependable is me, in my perspective.

*Spencer sighs.*

Ross is there anything we can do to help?

Ross: no, but thank you for offering.

Ross: yeah yeah. Thanks.

*they then take a sip of water and a bite of toast.*

How are you planning to do that?

Ross: I know people in the tree who can get me tools, I’ve got a great strategist right in front of me. And I’m fully fucking capable.

*Spencer sighs.*

Spencer: Fine, we’ll go over some while you get some fuel in you.

Ross: maybe while I’m at it, I’ll get my family back.

“Did you know Ben has a sister? He has a sister and I didn’t even know. I can’t believe this, Spence... like-“

Spencer looks at Jasper. They pull up a screen and bring down Ross’s frustration and worry. Ross takes a deep breath.

“Okay, now that you’re relatively calm. Tell me what happened?”

Ross nods. “I- we were hanging out. Then he’s gone. And my family’s already missing. I can’t find them and I-I just got word, that he and his sister are being tortured.”

By now Ross was shaking and starting to cry on Spencer’s windowsill. Spencer went to hug them, but they stopped him.

“I didn’t come here for sympathy, I came here for a plan and resources to go get him and his sister.”

Are you okay Ross?

Ross: I’m fine. Just done with people not telling me and shit like that.

*they shake their head.*

Ross: and it’s not just Ben. It’s Pam and grey and you too Spence...

[small-crusade]

Ben and his sister are being tortured.

Ross: his sister? He has a... I can’t believe it. I-I need to talk to Spencer and figure out what to do...

*They go to Clarissa and Spencer’s house.*

Yeah,,,its not good.

Ross: well what the fuck is it?!

*They take a deep breath and stop pacing.*

Ross: sorry, just. What happened?

[small-crusade]

Ross....about ben....

*Ross immediately resumes their pacing.*

Ross: What is it? God something happened to him... right?

are you going to be okay Sam?

Sam: I don’t know...

...Jones?

*The scene abruptly changes. At the mention of Jones, Sam just buried himself further under a pile of blankets.*

Sam: not here...

...Jones? Please say youre not dead.

*There is shuffling heard, afterwards silence in the dark room.*

*Ross relaxes.*

Ross: thank you.

Ross what are you doing?

*This seemed to cause them to jump.*

Ross: worrying... about Ben. About my family. Just worrying.

*Mallory didn’t even acknowledge the attempt.*
