Hi! I’m Aura, aka just a crazy little guy! I’m aroace and genderfluid (I use any pronouns)! I’m also neurodivergent (audhd yippeee) and ✨mentally ill✨ so feel free to send advice on how to exist w that bc I could use the help.

I’ll be posting a lot of infodumps about OC lore (only my fandom OCs bc I have too much anxiety to share original stories) and scenes because I’m hoping this is a safe space for that kinda thing. Also some art, if I ever actually motivate myself enough to finish a piece. I’m always looking to improve, so feel free to give me advice on my work, but please please please make it constructive cause I kinda hate myself and have really bad impostor syndrome! :):):)

Random Genshin OC stuff (ft. Kirin)

So I’ve been trying to figure out the dynamics between my OCs and the canon characters and by far the funniest is Kirin’s dynamic with Pierro.

The dynamic is basically “we would call each other family and bond over our shared trauma… if we hadn’t been beefing for over 500 years.”

Kirin would literally have seen Pierro as a weird uncle and mentor figure back in Khaenri’ah if they hadn’t INSTANTLY hated each other with the kind of passion you’d only get from two insanely stubborn people. I imagine most of the hatred was bc Kirin was kind of a young prodigy and Pierro saw her as naive and inexperienced, while she saw him as EXTREMELY condescending (aaaaand they were both right).

And the spite continued for 500 years lol (Pierro denying Kirin a harbinger spot despite her power and Kirin calling him The Fool and routinely sitting in his seat). Few moments of agreement are usually shared exasperated glances, usually about another Harbinger.

(Kirin, aka The Mechanist, is a Fatui operative who becomes the eighth Harbinger after Signora’s death. Also she used to be an engineer and inventor in Khaenri’ah)

So I got into making Kandi stuff and I wish I wasn’t so easily overstimulated by stuff on my wrists bc I want to wear a TON of bracelets but I always end up taking them off after like an hour :P

i always think about shiro’s experience while he was in captivity and fighting in those gladiator battles. aside from the guilt and bloodshed he experienced in that year in space, i feel like he would’ve gone through a lot more

the man lost his arm and was essentially cured from his disease. he would’ve been a lab rat. he—and matt too, most likely—would’ve been tested on. they were the first humans the galra had come across. surely they would’ve taken dna and other samples from them, inject them with new medications, drugs, steroids, the lot. there is no way shiro could have survived in that arena without the intervention of galrans. him, a measly human being, with a degenerative disease that was slowly killing him, compared to those other gladiators who were twice the size and strength of him. i refuse to believe that he wasn’t strapped to a metal bed for hours while being poked and prodded at.

shiro being Champion would’ve been a terrible experience. he was extremely popular in the battles. the mighty Champion, who slain many stronger than him. you cannot tell me that he wouldn’t have been “bought” for sex. i see it as a finnick situation. just imagine galran generals and commanders buying his time and body, doing whatever they pleased with him. he would’ve sat in his cell, bleeding, disgusted with himself, disgusted with the generals and commanders. more importantly, he would’ve been so upset that someone other than adam touched his body. something that was so sacred with adam was now ruined. not theirs anymore, forever tainted by the memory of him in prison and being used like a toy. in an alternate reality where adam survived, shiro would be sobbing during their first time back together, apologising over and over again about not being strong enough to fight them off.

the scar on his nose. the stump that once used to be his arm. the slashes all across his body. each a memory etched into his skin, forever haunting him until hes body is nothing more but a husk. he’d take a shower, refusing to look in the mirror, refusing to remember that arduous year. the sharp muzzle they put on him after biting one of his assaulters. the hours spent hacking off his right arm, the months of infection, the phantom pain. the swords used during the gladiator battles, the blood play the generals were interested in. all things a young man of 24 should not have went through. the galra never spared him much dignity.

they didn’t spare him at all.

making me think of Mairon alone at night: on a dark strand in Numenor, missing Middle-earth, as well as Mairon running Melkor's realm on his own during Melkor's captivity. (I usually don't listen too much to song texts, it's more the feel of the music, but sometimes a few lines stick.)

When i first encountered that song a long time ago, i imagined a scene from a fic of mine set in ancient Persia - so i also think of your Opus Magnus now!

Everyone uses spell jars a lot, but we always run out, and they cost money. Well, I have a new solution.

In forensics, a paper bindle is used to hold trace evidence. It can be anything from hair to cloth with blood or even gunpowder.

Here’s how you make one:

-get a piece of paper and fold it in thirds

-unfold it, then fold it in thirds in the other direction

-again, unfold. You can place any larger objects in the center square at this step.

-fold in the left and right sides, then fold up the bottom flap

-at this point you have a pouch. You can add your smaller objects and powders now.

-fold down both corners of the top flap to make a triangle.

-tuck the top flap into the top section of the flap. You can tape the bindle shut at this stage, but it’s not necessary.

I’ve used this so far for a protection spell. The garlic powder didn’t fall out, even with shaking. In addition, you can use paper colors to match intention, and it’s easy to draw sigils and runes at any stage. It’s also: ✨biodegradable✨. So if your spell works better buried, you won’t be harming the environment.

If you try this, let me know how it works! Also, if you have questions about the folding, feel free to send me an ask. I’m not sure how well I explained it, but I tried.
