I SWEAR IM NOT CRYING I PROMISE YOU IM NOT. *burst out crying really hard*
I don’t know why but this is one of my favourite gifs of Luke. First of all, let’s take a moment to look at how good the background looks. The orange and pink sky looks beautiful. Then Luke is looking so peaceful and he has his arms open which means he’s probably simply enjoying the wind and he looks like he’s in deep thought probably thinking about how great his life has become and how hemmo1996 would have never imagined this.
Don’t Stop || Calum
Based on: I’m trying this thing where I’m basing stuff from their songs haha || Part of the Songs Into Stories Series
Pairing: Calum + Y/N
Written by: smallathenabass
Your Friday nights were becoming a routine, and you weren’t even realising it.
It started off innocently enough… if you weren’t going to include the way he — Calum, that was his name — always looked at you.
How did it all begin again? Oh right. Your friends wanted to let loose after a particularly hell week at university, and who were you to refuse? They dressed you up in an attire that practically left nothing to the imagination of the rest of the partygoers, and they dragged you into the nearest club near the campus.
You were aware of all the looks that were being thrown your way as you danced your heart out in the middle of the dance floor. You were a little bit tipsy, and probably looked a little crazy moving along with your friends, but whatever. You looked hot and you deserved it.
But eventually your throat went parch enough for you to go for another round of drinks, so you had to excuse yourself to reach the bar.
Not long before your lips met another glass of alcohol, you felt a presence beside you.
All right, you thought. Let’s see how this one’s going to end.
Like all guys playing it safe, this one started simply enough.
“Hey,” he said. He was really tall, you noticed. Dark hair, dark eyes. Brown skin where you could see a hint of a tattoo peeking out from his shirt collar.
Really hot. You likey.
But alas. Were you interested in going home with someone tonight? Depends.
“Hey yourself,” you answered back, scooting on the bar stool you sat on and making yourself comfortable.
“I’m Calum.” Really Hot Guy, as you have started to call him on your head, grinned. You didn’t fail to notice that he didn’t sit on the stool next to you. Instead, he leaned onto the counter, angling himself so that he was still facing you appropriately. “Would it be really rude of me to ask why I haven’t seen you around here before?”
You set your glass onto the counter before facing Calum. “No.” You tried to smile as best as your tipsy self could. You shrugged. “S’not really my thing, you know?”
“It isn’t?” Calum repeated, raising an eyebrow. “You looked pretty great out there, for someone who claims this isn’t her thing. I’d say you keep doing whatever it was you were doing.”
You snorted. You weren’t really sure what caused you to say your next words… but then again, you had too much to drink. “If you’re trying to sleep with me, I suggest you try again some other time, fella.”
It was a good thing Calum only looked amused. But then again, he probably understood the state of mind you were in. “Can’t a fella just approach a pretty girl and tell her how pretty he thinks she is?”
“My number then.” Did you just hiccup? “You’re tryna ask for my number then.”
“Or I just really want to talk to you.” He grinned. “But since you mentioned it, maybe your number would be pretty nice, too.”
“No phone,” you lied, grabbing your glass once again and downing what was inside it. You squinted at the sudden burn on your throat.
Calum blinked. He chuckled a few seconds later. “If you say so. Hey, I never really got your name.”
“Why don’t you sit down, Mr. Calum What’s-Your-Last-Name, and maybe I’ll tell you.”
“Actually.” His face morphed into that of guilt. “I’m about to leave.”
“Huh?”
“I’m about to leave,” he repeated a little sheepishly. He moved his head to gaze to the entrance of the club, where three other men were looking at him expectantly. You weren’t sure. Your vision was starting to get a little blurry.
“Got a gig at another club near here,” Calum continued. “Just stopping by here for… you know. Reasons. I play bass in a band.”
Another hiccup. “That s’pose to impress me?”
“In theory.”
“Huh,” you mused. “Why’d you come talk to me then? If you were just gonna leave?”
Calum looked like he shrugged. “Wasn’t sure I was going to see you again. Would like to come see us play, though?”
Your eyes moved to the rest of your friends back at the dance floor. You waved your hand in Really Hot Guy’s direction. “Maybe some other time.”
“Does this mean I might see you again?”
Your eyes met his. You managed to smile. “We’ll see.”
That was the first time you ever talked to Calum, and for the rest of the week, despite the pounding headache that greeted you the morning after that encounter, you remembered him clearly and couldn’t get him out of your head.
By the next Friday night, you found yourself entering the club again. Because you were pretty sure you didn't have the same amount of confidence while sober, you figured it wasn’t pretty bad to have a few drinks.
The best part about that night? It looked like Calum was waiting for you where you first met.
But like the last time, he was rushing to get to another club somewhere.
“Seems like I got my wish,” was the first thing he said when he approached you. “Didn’t think I’d see you again.”
“And why not?”
The smile he gave you made you somewhat giddy. “Thought it too good to be true. Will I get the pleasure of knowing your name this time?”
“That depends,” you allowed, internally enjoying your banter. “Will you stay this time?”
The expression he gave you made your heart drop. “Another gig, huh?”
“Every Friday night,” he said.
“Why do you always have to be here before, then?”
Calum’s eyes moved back to the same spot where his bandmates — you guessed — were waiting for him the last time. “Think of it as our way of pre-hyping before a show. I’m not really complaining, though. Brought me to you, didn’t it?”
“And what would that imply?”
“You’re asking pretty difficult questions tonight. I take it you’re not drunk?” His tone was teasing.
You grinned, not really stopping the butterflies forming at the pit of your stomach. “Only slightly. I’m Y/N, by the way.”
And it continued like that for the rest of the weekends. Calum was always waiting for you, but he never stayed for very long. And because you were a little chicken to see wherever your encounters were going to lead, you never pushed yourself to go see wherever he was playing with his band.
But you lived for those thirty minutes every Friday night nonetheless. He was always on your mind every time you felt like dying from the school work; the thought of him alone pushed you to keep going.
And you felt like you were starting to get to know him, too. You weren’t stupid; you knew you were falling for the guy.
So why was it you never allowed yourself to see him play? Why did you always settle for lying every time he asked for your number? Why did you never allow yourself to meet him outside the club doors?
A few weeks later, you realised there wasn’t really an answer to your questions.
It was another one of those nights. Calum was rushing to leave again, but this time you surprised him.
“I’m coming with you,” you told him.
The look on his face was priceless. “What?”
“Don’t try stopping me now,” you warned. “I might change my mind.”
He didn’t even need to ask twice. He held out his hand, and you took it, lacing your fingers with his.
if you guys want to request a song with any of the guys, go ahead :)

She Looks So Perfect || Luke
Based on: I’m trying this thing where I’m basing stuff on their songs || part of the Songs Into Stories Series
Pairing: Luke + Y/N
Written by: smallathenabass
The kissing forced you awake.
Your bleary eyes slowly blinked open, and you tried to keep the hum that was bubbling at the base of your throat as you felt Luke’s lips against your jaw. His arms were wrapped around your bare torso, and his legs were tangled with yours under the plain white sheet.
“Y/N,” he whispered, planting another kiss on your neck. “Wake up, baby.”
Leave it to Luke to wake you up in the morning in a good mood.
But despite the fact that you were hyperaware of his lips on your skin, you playfully shut your eyes closed and used one of your free hands to grab the back of his head, pulling him even closer to you.
You let out a sigh of content. “Five more minutes, baby.”
Luke thought it was best to snicker. “Worn out from last night?”
Had they were open, you would’ve rolled your eyes. You snorted instead. “You wish, Hemmings.”
“I certainly didn’t hear you complaining last night, Mrs. Hemmings.”
You bit your lip at your new name. Three months, and you still weren’t used to it. Finally you forced yourself to open your eyes, remembering what today was and what made it so special.
And by special, you mean absolutely horrifying.
Luke noticed the sudden shift in your expression. “Hey,” he whispered. “It’s going to be okay.”
You looked down on him and gave him a small smile. “You don’t sound terrified.”
“Oh, believe me,” he chuckled, giving you a nervous grin in return. “I’m shitting my pants right now.”
“You’re not wearing any pants, honey. Or anything, for that matter.”
“That would be your fault, if I remember correctly.” Luke shifted from his original position where he was snuggling up to you. He lifted himself up gently, before settling himself lightly on top of you. “Would your parents mind if we were a little bit late for lunch?”
“Seriously?” You tried to joke, but you couldn’t help the blush forming on your cheeks, the heat forming on your—
He didn’t need to wait for your response; he dipped his head down, capturing your lips with his.
“Baby,” you moaned, reluctantly pulling back. “Baby—“
You could feel him smirk against his kiss. “Yes?”
“I’m pretty sure my parents despised the fact that we ran away almost a year ago.” It was a miracle you were able to form a coherent sentence, what with the way Luke’s hands were starting to move lower down your body. “So if we’re late today—“
“Five minutes.”
You burst out laughing. “Lucas!” You pushed him away for good, giggling. “Down, boy. Come on. We have to get ready.”
Luke rolled his eyes, moving back to his side of the bed as you struggled to sit up. You tried to find your discarded clothes but to no avail, so you picked up his shirt from the floor instead, along with his favourite pair of boxers.
You stood up, tying your hair into a messy ponytail. The nervousness of seeing your parents again was enough to make your heart race faster, your hands shaky. You took a deep breath, eyeing the one person who made all your decisions worth it.
Luke was staring at you with an expression you couldn’t decipher.
“What?” You asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Nothing. Just that…” He propped his arms behind his head, grinning at you. “You look so perfect, babe.”
You couldn’t help the blush forming your cheeks.
Oh well.
You untied your hair and took off the shirt you just put on.
“Five minutes,” you warned.
Luke could only nod eagerly.
