I haven’t made any of these long accounts in a while, and I think this day will be good practice.
We arrived at BGC completely famished. Or at least I was, because I crammed for an exam earlier that morning and I thought it was a good idea to skip breakfast. The hour-long taxi ride to Taguig didn’t help, either.
The funny thing was that we didn’t go straight to find food when we arrived. My stomach was complaining, but I still had the audacity to drag Jalo into Timezone for photos and animal stickers. :>
BGC was really, really pretty (and really clean!). My probinsyana heart hasn’t been to a lot of fancy places in Manila, and this place was a refreshing change from the polluted air of Taft. We took a walk after lunch and found this lovely line of bonsai trees.

It was around 3pm when we arrived at the Mind Museum. Long story short, the nerd child in me was extremely happy. Pro-tip for students: bring your ID!! There’s a huge (and I’m talking 600-to-160) discount on the tickets :D

This was probably one of my favorite rooms. It showed the history of the cell, and I loved how they partnered the first life forms with phosphorescence. Our matchy polos were glowing, too, but sadly that couldn’t be captured on photo.
And this is what I’ve actually been looking forward to!! I’ve seen vlogs of this T-Rex and I’m glad I finally got to see it for myself this time <3

And as if I wasn’t already satisfied with my visit to BGC, I found the second book of The Apollo Trials (huhu), and the Fully Booked there just so happened to have a yoghurt shop (more huhu i really love yoghurt okay). I feel like our dates aren’t complete without yoghurt, anyway, so thank you, dairy heavens, for blessing me with yoghurt shops everywhere.
So I barely got any word in :)) This post turned out to be a photodump, but that’s okay. There were a lot things I failed to capture, too, like the PVZ game and Jalo’s gigantic burger. And I think this post will be really long if I decide to include my love for Wingman, the new wing place Jalo introduced me to (THEY HAVE THE BEST WINGS EVER I ABSOLUTELY CAN’T--)
...and I’ve decided that there are more important things than the insecurities and the growing feeling that I’m thinking is akin to hate.
I haven’t written in a while, and for some reason that makes me really sad. I remember that I used to write all the time, may it be stories for online or for my diary. I haven’t touched the plot outlines I had for my fanfics either, nor have I taken any of my blogposts seriously.
But for once I am determined to get back into this old hobby. Recently I read our The Pharmakon EIC’s personal blog and I absolutely loved it. I realized that I had stories to share, too, and although not necessary and no one is ever going to read them, I’d also love to write about them.
I miss writing and the feeling of completeness I have when I do it. It’s a silly thought, but I think some part of my irritability stems from the fact that I haven’t had a proper outlet in a while.
So here I am, and it’s not even one in the morning anymore. Shows how (sadly) rusty I am when it comes to this. But that’s okay, because I’ll end this post with a sweeping declaration.
I want to and will write again.

It was really, really rainy, but I somehow convinced my family to get up and go out for McDonalds’ drive thru. Then we just parked outside where this huge tree was, with jammies on and munching on fries and all.
Third Year, First Sem

I finally joined The Pharmakon, my first ever CP org. :) Also got to win pizza from this org’s raffle, which is just as notable, because I’ve never won a raffle before hahaha. Kind of terrified because I’m not used to people reading what I write, but I’ll get used to it.
THIRD YEAR NA ANG BAKKI AND FRIENDS!! Huhu so proud of this squad. Five more sems to go!!
I joined PROPharm (and got Best Bluebook during appweek hehehe)! I will never not regret campaigning for this team last sem, and I’m super duper glad it brought me to so many amazing people who treat me as family kahit medj inactive pa ako huhu.
SML FOR BLOCK 25! Huhu the bibo-ness of this block continues to amaze me. Kahit nababaon na sa acads, solid pa rin. We’ve still got a long way to go, but so far we’ve proven that we’ve got what it takes to conquer any shit. To more sleepless nights and more kasabawan.
First time I took a stand about anything political, especially since I couldn’t stand the close-mindedness views of some of the people very dear to me. First time I actually joined the comment wars, and first time I’ve been likened to a Dilawan. Cool shit. Also, I’ve never been so high blood before.

FINALLY TAKING PHARMACY SUBJECTS!!! Chos ang saya ko :)) Pero kasi, it’s super duper nice to finally be appreciating what I’ve gotten myself into. Kahit sobrang loser ko when it comes to counseling, and kahit napapasigaw kami sa haba ng coverage for AnaPhysioPatho, I loved my Phar courses this sem. <3 (And I apologize in advance, parents, because the second thoughts about my future profession is back sadlyf. At least I’m sure I’m meant for the world of drugs and medicine yay!)

Got to try out butterbeer for the first time at Skye. (hi tacloban people please try the place out; it’s my uncle’s :DD)
Went yogurt-hunting with my dad in Cebu and found this really, really great place whose name I already forgot. Oops.
Watched a little girl look for crabs in the beach.
