Design History of New Orleansâ Iconic Shotgun Home â Bloomberg
Built to beat the heat, these distinctive elongated homes are a fixture of the Crescent City, and beyond. By Kriston Capps June 10, 2021, 9:28 AM CDT Finding shotgun houses in New Orleans is easy. Thousands of these modest structures exist across the city, appearing in any neighborhood developed before 1920. And beyond the city, too, in bayou communities through Louisiana and Mississippi andâŠ

I don't know if this will reach a lot of people, but please donate and share if you can. This was my old crew of artist friends from Palace Market in New Orleans. I miss being able to do my job at the place I love with the people I love.

Why do I feel like in the next 10 years there wonât be any platforms left that allow adult/mature themed art anymore? Not even referring to only sexual in nature art, but gore or anything like that too. Just sucks that so much is being censored, even nowadays. I donât see an issue with nsfw art as long as you have a feature hiding it until you click it.
And Iâm saying this as someone who only periodically dabbles in the adult. I just donât like the idea of silencing and removing adult media from the internet. Even now, places like Tapas allow violence and non graphic sex, but only on their desktop version, and even then itâs still censored. Donât get me started on Webtoons itâs virtually impossible there.
We need more adult spaces online U_U Cuz my future work does get a little more mature and I still wanna have a place to share it with responsible adults who want that content.
I've noticed this even with our jewelry. I have stamped the word "fuck" on so many necklaces that the word has lost all meaning. Social media such as Facebook and Instagram hates that I do that, and will not promote my content because to them, just saying the word is sexually suggestive. It's adult, yes. Suggestive? I think not. It's become harder and harder to find a place that allows for the kind of freedom I want to have as an artist. The kind of freedom that let's people make the choice if they like my work or not. I prefer to work at art markets because of this.
Unusual handmade jewelry inspired by nature. Animal bones, teeth & talons make us giddy. Fierce feminist owned and operated. We cuss a lot.

I love working at places where animals are welcome. It's a little strange though when some of those animals are managers.
