Ava and her little (gay) hat
same animal btw
Huntrix fighting a bunch of demons
sorry, prev, your tags are too true to be silenced
warrior nun au with zoey as ava and rumi as beatrice and mira as lilith
zoey pretend suplexing her babies (she does the bend back but holds them close to her chest so they donât get hurt)
aeri laughs like a madwoman
jihae bites her momâs arm
hani goes âWOAHâ
taeyong cries a bit before giggling
miywong jr shouts with outrage
go zoey, go zoey, go zoey
You're laughing. She's lost in the supermarket and you're laughing...
Zoey spends her childhood seeing her parents look at her with nothing but contempt and indifference, but coping by rationalizing their behavior as her parents just not being able to love children at all.
And then she sees her father lift her half-brother Freddie in the air and gaze at him with pride and almost rationalizing that as him just being excited to have a son, but then she sees him dote on her little half-sister Rosie and do things with her that he never did with Zoey.
And then she sees her mother talk sweetly and softly with her younger half-brother Davie, and maybe thatâs just her being happy having a son but no, sheâs the same with her half-sisters and other half-brother, too.
Itâs a sick feeling, the realization that itâs HER they canât stand to look at. That sheâs the only one who they find revolving to gaze upon. And maybe itâs because sheâs a manifestation of their hatred of each other, or maybe itâs because they hate her.
(Or maybe theyâre just bad people, she realizes later on, when she finds Freddie wondering the streets, afraid, and Rosie escapes their fatherâs grasp and immediately calls her for help.
Maybe they just werenât meant to be parents, she thinks, as she hears that Davie went low contact from Rosie, who connected with him and is helping him get out, and Harriett and Imogen go to schools in Boston and New York, and Phil actively trash talks their mother on Tiktok.)
She makes sure her children never felt like how she did. She makes sure that every ritual she did with one child is done with every other child, unless they seem uninterested, in which case she finds something new for them. She makes sure to divide her attention and affection as equally as possible.
Zoey makes sure her children know that she loves them all greatly and equally.
Zoey comes into the kitchen in the morning and stares at her pregnant wives, driven mad by how sexy she finds them right now and debating whether or not sheâs a freak for doing so. Rumira spot her and ask her whatâs wrong.
Zoey:
Rumi:
Mira:
And then none of them address it until they all canât resist and pounce on one another.
Blood cult au part nineteen (first, most recent, masterpost)
Currently: the wraiths are dead (mostly), and Rumi didnât even kill Bobby in the processâmany thanks to Zoey, whoâs formally decided to drop out of med school and join Celineâs shamanic order. That said, Minji and Miyeong need a hospital, and Mira needs a little more than that.
AU where Zoey was once tall
When the girls first met, Zoey was 5 and was already a head taller than both Mira and Rumi. She'd tell them that being tall meant she was basically in charge, completely certain her height came with authority. She decided what they watched or picked what games they played. She made all the rules. No, she was the rule. Zoey loved every second of it. Rumi and Mira just let her have it. She was their maknae, after all, and spoiling her had always come naturally to them.
By the time they were teenagers, puberty hit them like a truck and somehow skipped Zoey. She spent the next few years waiting for her turn, but it never came.
Zoey: Ok how did this happened? What dark magic is this?!
Rumi: Huh? What are you talking about?
Zoey: I feel like a garden gnome next to the two of you. Back then I was basically a god. I went from Mount Olympus to lawn ornaments.
Mira: There's no dark magic, Zoey. It's just genetics.
Zoey, glaring at the sky and shaking her fist: What did I do to deserve this? This is so unfair! We bathed in the same tub as kids, slept on the same bed, trained side by side until we couldn't even stand. We ate the exact same mealsâ
Zoey: Okay, fine, maybe I snuck a few extra snacks here and there. More than a few, if we're being honest. BUT that's not the point!
Mira: That might actually be the point
Zoey: The point is, we did everything together, we should be growing together! The universe owed me better odds than this. I called dibs on being tall first!!!
Mira, patting Zoey's head: Sorry, biology doesn't recognize dibs.
Rumi: that's not how it works, Zo. But you'll always take up the most space in my heart
Mira: Mine too. If anything, it's only gotten bigger
Zoey, sniffling: Ok, don't make me cry now, I already have low blood sugar from all the injustice
Mira, amused: How are you even hungry right now?
Rumi, laughing: Come on, let's get you some snack before you collapse from "injustice"
Zoey, letting herself be dragged toward the kitchen: I hope you both know I'm only agreeing to this because I'm weak with hunger. This isn't over. The universe hasn't heard the last of me!
Mira: I'm sure it's terrified.
