I know this is probably private for my grandmother but I opened a drawer in the guest bedroom I was staying in. I saw the sketch book and thought it might have been one I left when I was in school. I saw some doodles/sketches and thought “that’s exactly how I draw. So it must be mine.” So I looked further into the drawer and found all this. I always wanted to know where I got my love of drawing and painting from cause my patents swore that it was from neither side. My small grandma (our nickname for her) has never told me or anyone I know of that she did/does this. I feel like I found a hidden part of my heritage that I’ve never known before. It hits me on such a deep level but I know I could never talk to her about it cause it would racial that I snooped. I just can’t explain how much it means to me to find this. My grandma knitt’s and makes quilts buts has never mentioned this.

Thank you and its not at all weird :) Its actually kinda nice cause I haven't told too many people cause everytime I get really excited about a guy things just go bad. Now to pick a cute outfit incase I don't have a lot of time to change after getting off work.

Going on date tomorrow with one of my best friends friends. I've met him a few times at parties she's thrown and her wedding. He's a nice guy but we're both really shy. She's been bugging both of us for months now about how we'd be great together. Finally she just set up a time for us to get together and told us both to be there. I haven't been on a date in over a year and my confidence in myself hasn't been the highest in a while. But she's said he's excited and all she hopes is that we have a nice supper and hopefully it is as unawkward as possible. I'm just a pile of nerves and anxiety right now cause what if I do something stupid or he's just kinda been pressured into it.
