Transferring to princeofillusions

(( Okay so I realized that this child!Ienzo blog is not active at all, but I still rp Ienzo on my other account ( @princeofillusions ). Therefore I have decided to just fuse the two accounts together and transfer bby Ienzo over to my main Ienzo blog.

He won’t be a sideblog, but instead just a verse on princeofillusions.

If we have a current there on here that you would like to continue rping, then just nudge me on princeofillusions. If not, then just feel free to nudge me there if you want to start something with either bby ienzo OR older!Ienzo.

It’ll be a little while for me to update all the information on my other blog, but this blog will still be here for references and as an archive for threads. c:

It was rare to hear the other talk. Which was why Roxas chose not to comment on it, shifting so he was once more fully on his side. All the stuff in his abdomen was heavy and put pressure on his back and laying on his side was more comfortable.

Though the stare was understandable. The neko liked to think he was fluent in the language of Ienzo. “Mm… Something warm. But no dairy.” The opposite of his favorite food, but cravings worked in odd ways. There was something comforting about eating something warm that settled in your belly and radiated its heat.

Ienzo waited patiently for Roxas to get a bit more comfortable and for his answer to his unspoken question. He nodded in response to the request. No dairy. He could do that.

He quickly padded out of the room and made his way to the kitchen. Something warm... eggs and toast should be okay. It’s simple, but also very healthy.

It wasn’t long before Ienzo had the toast in the toaster and eggs cooking on the stove. He stood on the little stool as he concentrated on cooking the eggs to Roxas’ liking. While he did prefer baking ( because it was like food chemistry ), Ienzo wasn’t bad at cooking.

Soon enough he had everything on a tray and he carefully carried it up to Roxas.

Alright, the rubs feel good. Very good. The expecting neko purrs and apparently the sensation makes the kits settle down. Roxas shifts a bit, rolling a bit more onto his back to expose his rounded abdomen more.

Really, he didn’t mind Ienzo being around and poking and prodding him. Really, with how much the child had read it was probably a good thing to have him around. Since, well, the books he’d read probably talked about what was healthy and signs of something being wrong.

The blonde’s stomach growled and he opened his eyes again, huffing in annoyance. He didn’t want to get up and get food. The bed was warm and moving was becoming awkward difficult waddling.

Ienzo continued to rub Roxas’ belly and noted the purring noise coming from him. That means Roxas was content and happy according to his books. That was a good thing. A stressed out mama was not good for the kittens.

At the stomach growl, Ienzo blinked a few times and looked away from Roxas’ belly to his face instead. Ah... He turned his attention back to the belly.

“I am going to get food for you both and your mama. Be good and don’t kick so much.” He said softly before sliding off the bed to go grab something for Roxas to munch on. He did pause and stared at Roxas to see if he wanted anything specific.

Really, it’s too late for this, isn’t it? At least, it’s late enough that the blonde can’t do much more than mewl tiredly and try to bury his face in his pillow. Unfortunately the brats in him won’t stop moving so he can sleep. They’d much rather kick and push against the hands on mother’s belly.

It’s been what, two months? Over halfway through. And by now it’s very obvious there’s two kits expected, seeing as he’s bigger than Sora. Who’s been pregnant for a week longer than him.

Ienzo definitely found the kicking to be interesting. In fact, the whole pregnancy was interesting to him. He never had paid much attention to the whole reproduction thing in his textbooks, but ever since Roxas announced he was expecting kittens... well Ienzo now paid extra attention.

He had never actually met a baby. At least to his knowledge, and according to Roxas he was expecting at least two.

Tiny hands continued to gently pat Roxas’ stomach. It was such a strange feeling having his hand kicked. He wondered if it was painful for Roxas. He frowned a bit at the thought and then began to rub the belly instead.

The neko was trying to sleep before feeling cold hands on his swollen belly. An ear flicks as he gives a sleepy ‘mrrp’ sound and opens his eyes to look at the one touching him.

And over course it’s at that moment the babies choose to kick.

Ever since Ienzo learned that the other was pregnant and expecting kittens, he had been very curious. They had never seen anyone pregnant before and had started to read up everything they could on pregnancy.

Of course when the other started to show a lot more, Ienzo had more of an urge to touch and pat the growing belly. Which was what they were doing now. They gently laid a hand on the swollen belly and made a soft noise at the immediate kick they received. At least the kittens were active. That was a good sign right?

“…You might if you know why it was dangerous.” Did he really want to explain it? Well… better to bring it up now than have the kid get surprised and/or injured by a rogue Shadow that had somehow slipped past the town’s security system. He… should probably get it over with. But he wasn’t going to just stand here, if Ienzo was going to start moving than so was he.

“…Radiant Garden was overrun by monsters called Heartless a few years ago. The Heartless are… still around. Not as many as there used to be, but it’s still dangerous.” Running the risk of losing one’s heart was… always worrying. He wasn’t sure how much he should say. The Replica wasn’t sure how to deal with something like this in the slightest.

Even after Yoru explained these ‘Heartless’ to Ienzo, the child still wasn’t deterred away from wanting to explore Radiant Garden. If anything, Ienzo was even more intrigued about this strange version of his home.

If there were monsters around... then Ienzo wanted to observe them and perhaps see if he could get one to dissect. It was the scientist in him that wanted to learn all about these Heartless. What did they look like? What did they eat? How did they act? Were there different breeds? Were they human-like or more animalistic?

‘I would like to find one of those Heartless.’

He showed the notepad to Yoru once he noticed the other following after him.

“Ienzo, do come here, child.”

There’s a gentleness in Even’s voice as he clears a spot on the lab table for his next experiment.

Tiny as it may be, it’ll be a great starting point for Ienzo to get used to the experimentation process in the lab.

Ienzo never understood when people called him by ‘child’. Sure, he was the age of a child, but that didn’t mean he had to be treated like such.

He climbed onto the lab stool next to Even and then peered up at the man as he wanted for the next instructions.

The Flood purred softly as it was carried, making sure not to accidentally do anything that would make the child drop it. This was nice, yes. Perhaps it would stay here for a long time, yes yes. Until mind required that it was needed, and it doubted that it would be. It was simply one of many, mind could just make more with no issue.

It wondered idly where it was going. Mind seemed suspicious of this one, but the Flood was fine with keeping an eye on him and on this world. Maybe it would find useful things, yes yes. But for now they were going someplace, maybe someplace new. It would have to wait and see.

Ienzo decided that the soft noise coming from the creature was nice. It certainly wasn’t painful to his ears like how Even’s yelling or Braig’s voice could be. The soft and low rumbling was like a purr. Felines did that to show they were happy or content? The creature was happy or content then? He needed more data to confirm such a theory.

For now, he’ll just focus on bringing it home. It didn’t take Ienzo long to make his way to the castle and like usual, he went through the back way. Soon they were inside. Ienzo slowly and carefully made his way to the kitchens.

He was now growing frustrated, he took a deep breath before speaking again. “Are, you hungry?” He also didn’t know how the whole potion thing went and couldn’t think of what to do to end this transformation. For now he hoped that it would wear off in time, taking care of a kid is something he wasn’t sure how to do.

Ienzo blinked a few times at the random question and furrowed his brow as he thought about it. Was he hungry? He never particularly paid much attention to such a thing.

He just shrugged, a motion he picked up from Braig, to answer Vanitas’ question.

He was right, maybe that’s why he treated him the way he did. He was such a smartass for just a kid. He was speechless for the moment as he removed his hand from his shoulder. “Whatever.” He shoved his hands in his pockets, he really didn’t want to follow him anywhere, he just wanted to go to the lab and figure out how to turn him back. “We’re going to the lab first.”

Ienzo could predict the reason why Vanitas wanted to go to the labs. If what he said was true, then he supposed Vanitas wanted him to go back to ‘normal’, however how he was right now felt normal to Ienzo.

“Unless you know how to reverse this supposed change, then it would be pointless. I personally do not know how to create a potion to change one’s physical and mental age.”

He was growing tired of talking and silently wished he had his pen and notepad.

Vanitas watched him for the moment, was he…walking away from him? “Where the hell are you going?” He didn’t mean to say it so mean, he wasn’t even sure why he did himself. He quickly rushed towards him grabbing his shoulder. He took a breath to calm himself before speaking. “Did you not hear me? You have to stay with me Ien.”

Ienzo paused when his shoulder was grabbed and tilted his head up to look at Vanitas with his usual blank expression. “You did not say I had to stay with you. You merely stated that you are not going to let me out of your sight. Implying I can move around as I wish and you have to follow if you want to supervise me.”

He looked forward again as he didn’t want to keep craning his neck. “I do not understand why you wish for me to stay here. If we are in Radiant Garden, I know my way around the area.”

He wasn’t sure why the kids words annoyed him, he was right about the whole situation. “Yeah…..and I’m not letting you out of my sight till your back to normal.” He said with almost an attitude, he wanted his Ienzo back and fast.

Ienzo didn’t respond to that comment. Vanitas was not the first person to give him such restrictions. Ansem, Even, and Aeleus always tried to reinforce that rule at the castle, but of course Ienzo ignored it.

It was how Ienzo met Vanitas in the first place.

And now that their conversation seemed to have ended, Ienzo was finding it pointless to continue staying here. Vanitas gave him answers - though ones he wasn’t sure he believed, and now he needed to go seek more information.

As if he didn’t hear Vanitas’ words, he just turned around and began walking away.

“Yeah. Your, actually older than this...a lot older.” He lightly sighed. “It seems, you don’t remember anything either…” He spoke low to himself. “I wonder why…could it be because of your age? ” His words began to get lower until he was mumbling to himself.
