looking out onto the town

asahi super dries in hand with konsome chips abreast

on the roof of an azamino tower block

talking about shit and the shit in my head and the shit in our heads

maybe i value intelligence irrationally

because i wouldnt think about things otherwise

or maybe hes right in saying were just looking for answers because we have problems

make another joke about burrito girl and it not being a date

and the food truck is another manifestation of a way to deal

with the things i always think about

damn i wished i had a cigarette, but only then --

the company and conversation was real

and the laughs amongst sadness or even nothing

as we watched the sun rise 

in the land of the rising sun

its coming up behind us the other apartment building is blocking it
