nowandgen I'm a busy mom, so working out is a major stress release for me. Feeling good from the inside out is important to me, and exercise is a big part of a healthy lifestyle. @LiveOWYN is my favorite pre-hike ritual. The plant-based protein shake is allergen-friendly, completely clean, and positively tasty. Yum! #OWYN #ad
Now&Gen Itâs February, which means the weather is chilly, but the mood is warm. If youâve been following along, you know I spent all of January in Vancouver with a handful of weekend trips to Whistler. Every day, it felt like I was reaching into my closet for another sweater to add to my rotation!
nowandgen Listen up, busy parents! Who has the time to cater to all the different palettes and dinner requests that go on at home? Not me! One of my go-to, time saving hacks is @BlueApron, which allows you to create delicious, chef-inspired recipes delivered straight to your doorstep. That's farm fresh ingredients, in exactly the right proportions, minus the trip to the grocery store. Plus, no waste from unused ingredients. Grab either a personal or a family plan for bustling households like mine! Head up to my stories to see more đ #BlueApron #ad
nowandgen Iâm starting a monthly book round up on the blog! Any suggestions for great reads covering fiction, parenting, cooking, etc? đâ€ïž
nowandgen Nothing brightens a lackluster winter day like a pop of color. Wearing my favorite lipstick by @lipservice while dreaming of warmer weather (#NOTANAD! Just my personal fave)đ

Now&Gen I love Sundays. Â Mainly because I love a good brunch, but I love a good brunch with my Sunday paper. One of my favorite Sunday morning rituals is reading the New York Times Book Review. Â Iâm a sucker for the musty, inky copy paper smell and I love the gothic font lettering. Â I enjoy what new books are being released out into the world and the challenge to tackle some new literature. Â It makes me happy, it makes me really happy. Â While Iâm a little late in the game on mapping out the books Iâd love to read this year, itâs better late than never! Â So, no more procrastination, here is my list Iâm hoping to tackle.

nowandgen I love being able to show off Odette's inner tomboy with these limited edition @Honest diaper prints exclusively found at @Target and Honest.com. The products we put on and around our babies are truly vital to their wellness. Being able to confidently put my baby in a diaper thatâs ultra soft, absorbent, AND hypoallergenic makes my heart leap. Run over to your local #Target to snag these new prints! #HonestCompany #sponsored
nowandgen New pedicure, new episode, champagne, my man and my dog. Itâs a much better day đđ„đ
Now&Gen Now that the holidays are over and the new year is already running rampant, January is a month of holiday recovery with a good book and a hot cup of tea. I love getting on my comfy clothes, laying in bed, and reading during Austinâs rainy season. Being cozy is also the perfect time to take out the laptop and do a little online shopping.
danneelackles512 Oh....Great. đ” #1stgreyhair ....Iâve seen. But who knows my eyesight is probably going as well. #humpday
nowandgen These chilly Canadian winter mornings call for lots of cuddles and kisses in my favorite long johns. Thanks @fswhistler for this beautiful backdrop! âïžâïžđżâ·
Now&Gen I have two stylists. Their names are Tom and Shep. Even though they canât tell the difference between designer clothes and my PJâs, the two do a pretty good job. All I need is a quick thumbs up or thumbs down, and Iâm ready to go.
Who am I kidding? Theyâre awful critics. They love me most in my sweatpants, because âparty clothesâ in their world means theyâre having to stay home with a babysitter. When Iâm looking for style advice, I feel a little stuck.
nowandgen This past weekend was the second annual Womenâs March and if youâve been following along you know that my family and I have been in Vancouver, B.C. I trekked out in the rain, to march alongside many women (and men) who went out to protest the current state of affairs that challenge reproductive rights, immigration rights, LGBTQ rights, equal pay, gender equalityâthe list goes on. I wrote a blog post about my experience (link in bio!) - raise a hand if you went out to march in your city! đđ»ââïž #WCW đđâ€ïžđ
Now&Gen Itâs been one year since the 2017 Womenâs March. Last year following January 21, 2017, I  could hear rumblings and tremors in the air for what felt like months. The earth felt like it was in the midst of an aftershock. Unlike a lot of causes where there is excitement followed by a lull, the Womenâs March fueled and fanned a conflagration.  It ignited voices, hearts, feelings, passions, and unity. So when it came to this yearâs Womenâs March, I knew, rain or shine, there was no way I was going to miss it.
