I’ve been quietly nurturing this story idea for about a year, and its main character is none other than the badass clone from the comics himself: Alpha-17.

I only just got to the point where I could finally start writing it, but the first three chapters are already up on both AO3 and Wattpad.

my very first tumblr post !!! i crocheted a little captain rex a while ago and im very very proud of him!! he was sorta freehanded by me (or i made the pattern myself at least) (and by pattern i mean. barely legible instructions on a piece of cardboard) and his helmet is removable!

i made him as a gift for my friend :)

I got electrocuted by the chancellor for the third time this month and haven't slept in 48 hours. Let me have this. Thorn: Just be nice to the people who can have us both killed, pretty please? Fox: I hope you die in a fiery speeder crash, senators. Have a nice day. Thorn: ::facepalm:: Fox: What? It's not like they're listening. Bail: Did Commander Fox just tell us to die in a fiery speeder crash? Amidala: That's very unlike him. It must be some kind of coded message. Perhaps warning us of an assassination attempt? We should take special precautions. Bail: And perhaps send the commander a thank you gift should this turn out to be a legitimate threat. Amidala: Some caf? He sounded more tired than usual. Bail: I know just the place.

Thorn: Fox, you got a box from those senators you told to die in a speeder accident! It's probably got decommissioning orders in it. Should I destroy it and pretend it got lost in the mail? Fox: Coward. ::opens box:: Thorn: Is that... the good caf? From the tap cafe in the upper levels who won't even let clones on guard detail stand outside? Fox: I guess you were right. It does pay to be nice.

He's here! Hot Toys ARC Trooper Fives! And yes, I am a little excited to have one of my favorite ARC Troopers home. Echo and Rex were glad to see him too! I am more than officially hooked on collecting Hot Toys. I think Fives has to have some adventures with the Bad Batch too.

I did put his 3D printed MJB customs head on him right out of the box. The headsculpts that come with these figures are well done, but just don't look like my beloved animated clone troopers, so I change out all the heads. I have them in my shop too. I had Fives' head waiting since last year when I pre-ordered him. Captions for the 5 photos: Fives just vibing

I couldn't wait for #FivesFriday to reveal my latest Fives painting. I had wanted to do another since I liked, but didn't love, the first portrait I did of him. This is hand painted with acrylic on 9x12 canvas board. I am making prints next. The background is inspirited by the scene at the end of the Umbara arc when they were outside the hangars. Making sure @laughhardrunfastbekindsblog sees this! I will have prints in my Etsy shop soon.

Alpha-17 enjoyers, assemble! 🧠😏

I need your opinion on something that’s been living rent-free in my head. I’m considering writing a fanfic starring our beloved ARC, and I have to ask:

Do you think Alpha is even capable of falling in love? Or is he just too intense, too focused, too “I-have-no-time-for-emotions” to ever go there?

Buuuut... if he could fall for someone — who would it be?

Someone fragile and in need of protection — someone he could cherish and shield? Or a total badass who could knock him flat on his shebs and not even apologize? Or maybe… something else entirely? Let me know in the comments!

So, could he fall?

Nope. Love isn't in his programming.

Yep, he’d fall for someone fragile he could protect.

Only someone as badass as he is could melt his armor.

Gonna pin my favorite painting of my favorite guy so he's always there when I want to find him!

I hadn't planned on painting this one until I posted the picture from the show. I realized it had to be painted. And now it's my new favorite. It's 9x12 acrylic on canvas board, Hunter on Kashyyyk from S2 E6 "Tribe." It was at the end when he was standing outside the hut talking to the Wookiee Yanna, watching Omega and Gungi talk to the trees.
