Ik this isn’t my type of post but I really just need to find people who I can actually relate to right now, empathy of an outsider isn’t helping much

I recently got a boyfriend

I want to try and overcome my fears of men because well, I like him

He’s always so patient and sweet, awkward at times but he truly means no harm. Still, I always have that intense feeling it’s just an act and I get angry

Growing up as a girl who developed early especially one of color, I didn’t have many good experiences with men

Always stripped down my value to my body

He isn’t like that at all

But I still can’t help but get angry because are you lying to me? Why don’t you want my body? That’s all I have what is there to like?

I’m not sure how to process this, drawing is the only way I know how to.
