It’s like those times where, you find something so ingrained and normal, you take advantage of it, and think that it will be there forever. I took advantage and thought they will always be there no matter what goes behind my computer screen. And they surely were. Everytime I watch your shows, everytime I listen to your songs, and everytime I see and hear your laughs, you were always there to cheer me up, make me laugh, no matter what kind of mood I was in, good or bad.

You made so much happiness in the world, in each person’s day, you have given so much. It pains me so, that I was unable to give back. You guys deserve the world. If this decision-if this hiatus is what will make you happy- what will make you free, you have the very right to do so.

Riida, Aiba-kun, Nino, Matsujun, Sho-kun…thank you.

-but you know, its still by the end of 2020. I’ll probably write a longer message when that time comes, in the meantime, for your future activities until then…

This is a shocking news to every Arashi fans but we shouldn’t forget that they’re humans also who deserves an ordinary life. I know that it will be sad and some may leave the fandom because of it but as a fan, we should all respect his decision:) They said that they will try their very best as Arashi until the very end and so we should all be there for them, give our best to support them and thank them for all the things they have showed and given to us all these years. Arigatou Arashi for everything! ✨❤️💙💛💚💜

Earlier today, I wanted to watch the “Don’t You Get It” PV just for kicks because it is one of favorites.

Little did I know, later this day, Arashi would announce their hiatus.

I wasn’t sure how to react at first because I didn’t know if I should believe it.

But it is true, and here we are.

Ohno’s statement wherein he said, “For once, I wanted to live a life of freedom, without being tied down” broke me.

20 years of nonstop work is a blessing for sure, but I imagine it came with a lot of sacrifices from the five of them.

I have so much respect for this group and I have so much respect for Ohno, who must have mustered all of his strength to speak out what was in is heart.

Truly, to see them still in their smiling selves at the press con is so comforting and reassuring because it shows that their friendship does not end with Arashi and that they love and care and respect one another so much.

Their friendship means so much to me, more than anything.

Their friendship taught me that, in my life, when you are surrounded by the right kind of people, you can achieve your dreams—and Arashi has done / is doing just that.

This hiatus, this much-deserved break, this long overdued rest is not the end of Arashi.

I know that in my heart, and Arashi themselves know and believe in that more than all of us.

What a time to see unfold…

Honestly, I wish them nothing but the best. They will always have my support.

And as the song sings “Don’t you worry, don’t you worry, don’t you worry~”

Let’s give it all we got until 2020!!!
