just curious on if theres any info you can give me on edwins interactions with other characters? like how do they act with everyone and are there any people who they act differently around?

Sorry! I've been preoccupied lately.

Edwin is usually a very shy person, he wants to get along with everyone but he's hesitant to step forward if that makes sense. I've had this idea in my head that if he likes or is comfortable with someone he'll show it by giving them things. (If that's confusing think of it as similar to a crow giving trinkets LMAO he'll just start sharing things, like snacks, toys, a cool rock, etc.)

With Tamarack he'd be more playful. Since she tends to just charge forward, I think he'd be drawn into the energy of it as a kid. She could probably talk him into trouble if she wanted. They often explore the forest together and play pretend.

With Qiu I think he's the most relaxed and comfortable (other than his mom ofc). I think Qiu's confidence with handling other people would help him feel less anxious, and in turn Edwin checks in on Qiu a lot too. I like to think they trade notes a lot in and out of class since Winnie doesn't really talk. Anywhere between full sheets of conversation and just silly doodles.

With Ren he didn't like her at first, purely because Ren didn't like Tamarack and that was his bestie. As things calm down between those two though, Edwin finds he actually really likes hanging out with her (and the rest of the boy's club). I can't think of anything specific tho..

With Baxter pretty similar to Ren, except he looks up to Baxter. He thought he was kinda of intimidating at first then thought he was really cool.

Hmmmmmmmmmm! I think he'd the most comfortable in his home, or maybe in Qiu's secret hideout since there's not likely to be anyone around. Basically anywhere quiet and comfy.

As for people it'd be his mum mostly, and Tama and Qiu when he's more comfortable with them. By step 2 maybe even the rest of the boys club. All in all while he gains more confidence he stays on the quiet side throughout his entire life.

Simply put, during the Steps, what was their (going gender neutral to be on the safe side) comfort and interest levels?

Hi! Cadence goes by He/him pronouns :) Since he's a very blunt character, I kept him with the Direct comfort level the entire game.

Step 1- Indifference. I like to think they didn't get along at all, but just kinda had to make it work during summers bc of their parents.

Step 2- Crush. I kind of wish you could develop it as you play, bc I think it would've been really cute to see them go from frenemies to awkward crushes. LMAO But as far as I could tell it's locked in.

Step 3&4- Love. This is the era of them being the ClingyDuo ™️

I have both too many thoughts on this and none at all-

Cadence Drew (OLBA): I can't imagine in step 1 he did any after school activities, he was very standoffish and would rather spend more time on the beach. From step 2 onwards though he took guitar lessons! And probably some kind of art class/club, he gets very into pottery. In my highschool the art teacher used to let us hang out in the art room during lunch, so I like to imagine that's where Cadence spent most of his time. (Also yes, haha his last name is Drew and he became an artist)

Edwin 'Winnie' Porter: Edwin loves space, if he spoke he could rant about it for literal hours. He's a lil nerd. So I'd imagine he takes some kind of science club, or creative writing. He likes reading about myths and legends (especially if they're connected to constellations), so I think he'd enjoy getting to write his own. I don't know what clubs the game is going to offer, so I haven't made any solid decisions for him yet.
