I picked this up at my local Asian grocery store. This is instant yakisoba that you add water to. The flavor is oriental with mayonnaise. I picked it because this was a flavor I’ve never heard of before. Inside the package are four packets with vegetables, spices, sauce, and mayonnaise. This was easy to prepare and very delicious. The mayonnaise made it very creamy and paired well with the slightly sour spices.

Another drink from my local Asian market. This is Ano Fruits and Milk. It is a non carbonated soft drink. I believe this is powdered milk base mixed with fruit juice. It reminds me of yogurt drinks and tastes like fruit punch. This drink is delicious and gentle on your tummy. Fruit Punch is not my favorite flavor but I still enjoyed this drink very much.

A peanut butter streusel bun filled with whipped cream. This was a delicious bun that I picked up at The Moon Bakery, a Korean bakery in town. The bread itself is sweet and fluffy. The outer layer has the textured crunch and tastes like peanut butter and the whipped cream is homemade. Sweet but not too sweet, this is the perfect breakfast item or snack. It is also fairly large (about the size of my hand).

Here is another drink I picked up at our local Asian market. It is a Pearl Soybean Drink with Tapioca balls. It is strawberry flavored and reminds me slightly of strawberry milk. I have never had soy milk before but this is non dairy so more of a strawberry soy milk flavor. It is not overly sweet and the strawberry flavor is a bit muted, but overall refreshing and gentle on my tummy. What really sells me on this drink is the tapioca. I love texture in my drinks. I drank this in a regular glass and unfortunately all the tapioca settled on the bottom so I didn’t get any until it was almost gone. Next time I will use a straw.

Here is something new I got from our local Asian market. It is Peach flavor Aerated Water. There are no artificial colors so the drink is transparent. It is not carbonated so even though it is fizzy it is a lot gentler on my throat and stomach than traditional carbonated water. It definitely tastes like artificial peach, which is a flavor I like but it would have been nice to have a more genuine flavor. I really enjoyed this and I would definitely buy it again and try the other flavors. I love the transparent plastic can it comes in. It looks very modern and cute.
