so the first four hoards were so popular that theyve become kind of on ongoing series ! some of the ones here feature the commissioners ocs and personal items, but ALL of them involve things very dear to me: weird lizards on piles of junk

“Stormdancer”

Originally for an ArtOrder challenge, but it’s something I’ve been wanting to paint for a while anyway. And since this past July and August were thunderstorm central, I had loads of fresh inspiration to work with! (This is what prompted the storm studies I was doing earlier.)

And yes, this is what those detail shots were from. All I can say is, FUN WITH PAINT. I need to do more of this!
