The weirdest thing about Riverdale is the relationships between the main characters and their families

In one episode Veronica is fighting legal battles against her dad and in the next shes crying over his health

Betty's mom verbally abuses her on the regular and has done some insanely questionable things but somehow "blood is thicker than water"

These families will abuse each other to the ends of the earth and then turn around w some shit abt how "family is what matters most"
